I’ve easily got over 20 games for each of the leagues in question but my concern is 20 feels too low. The uncertainty I’ve got is whether the data for the league is running below average now or whether it was above average before, so whether it’s going to go back up or whether this is the normal level!
I guess I need to do more delving to see if there’s another reason. I wouldn’t stop collecting the data, just stop trading those particular games, but like Stuart said I could be throwing the baby out with the bath water and it may be another reason those games performed badly

As others have said its a tough choice. I would say the same as Chris, at least 20 for me.I have set my SHG spreadsheet in such a way that I can easily switch a league from 'A' status to 'B' status. I very rarely trade my Bs but keep them there in case the leagues improve and might switch them to A.
Personally I am loathe to exclude things as I like as complete a set of data as possible. Means more work I guess but I still fairly new so I might see a better way in the future.

@lee-woodman I've done it on a couple I'm testing, ideally as many as possible but probably at least 20 or so

Really hard to say. I want to say a season, but I guess that would annoy you (it would and does annoy me as well). I find "bad" results come in clusters.
My FHG filter has thrown up 5 games with no FHG out of 9 since Thursday. It's never done that before, but looking back, there are clusters of no FHG with series of FHGs.
The danger is throwing out the baby with the bath water.
I suppose you could look at thestatsdontlie and see what the means are for late goals in the leagues in question, compare it to your results and see if recently there has been a "correction". With any luck, those same leagues will revert back to the mean, giving you a nice run of late goals in the leagues in question.
That said, and I'm sure you mentioned this, getting rid of the second tier of most countries is invaluable. -
What’s peoples opinions on cutting out certain leagues if they don’t perform well for a certain filter? I’ve got a couple which have gone really poor for late goals on one particular filter. How many games from that league do you consider enough data to remove it altogether?
