    @matt-wood theres nothing wrong with your sheet mate, i track very basic stuff and it works for me. Dont over complicate trading, keep it simple. I dont rule out leagues based on this data style, i only remove them based on liquidity. Each league will have hidden gems of games and its not about what they did before but how easy they are to trade. Its just your job as a trader to hunt out those high value trades. This is when you gain edges. Most traders are using this data led approach and over relying on historic data/performance, well so does the markets. This should only guide you to the right games to monitor/further research not to just trade regardless. Keep it simple and repeatable.

    My goals trading shortlist for tonight. Whether I can get into any will depend on goal times and IP stats.

    @matt-wood Excellent work Matt that's really good and the information looks fine... Doesn't look like you need to re jig it at all... Now let me help you with that data, I'll take you into a little deep dive πŸ˜‰

    Add some filters to your "Country" "League" "Match" columns etc... Then select each country and each Country's leagues separately, one at a time and see which offers the best conversion for say SHG on 60mins (bet it's Iceland lol).

    Make a note of each leagues conversion rates and then when you've finished going through them one at a time only select the leagues which convert at 80% plus... Then look at your conversion figure above.

    This is what I call a "Smart Filter" (you may have noticed me reference that before) you can then create a sub filter from your main filter (by only including those leagues) and extract only gold... Let me know how you get on πŸ‘

    I know I harp on about this like Ryan with his "What has to happen" but "What we measure we can manage" best of luck mate

    "... just working out the best trade to fit the data and I think I'm almost there now".

    I think Im finding that the tough part. Making and testing a good filter for SHG is relatively easy. Finding the 'best' way to trade the data is the harder part.

    I'm in the same position, do I go for a split stake, back the next plus one goals market or wait 15 mins until goals market has value in it and then what is the exit strategy?

    @matt-wood This is the match data I collect there's more stuff to the left but removed it for clarity... Up above I have mini calculators where I can back test certain trades...

    Don't focus too much on some of those Goal Machine trades as they are only estimated and the matches don't really suit the profiled games in the filter but the SHG data is spot on, you can also see that this specific filter doesn't suit a FHG trade/bet either but feel this could change as the winter leagues settle.

    @matt-wood Hi mate... What level of data do you collect, do you collect goal times as well... Such as minute first goal scored and minutes of shg's?

    @john-hurst Excellent results mate and just to pick up on @Keith-Anderson's excellent comment re SHG... Maybe note he SHG times and minute first goal is scored this can help to evaluate both FH & SH trades πŸ‘

    Although with that said, I can't make up or beat Gary's SHG filter with any of mine it's just working out the best trade to fit the data and I think I'm almost there now.

    @alan-steward

    This should do the job roughly for you. Just be aware it's been designed around the over 2.5 prices and at rough starting odds of 2.00 so the more you move from those parameters the less accurate it will become.

    Just add the over 2.5 odds at the start into cell E1 and it should calculate everything else for you. Any queries, shout up πŸ‘
