Ive officially abandoned my Lay 3rd fav strategy today. Since you asked this question(27th Aug) Its pretty much not moved. Its shot up to a 30 point gain, nearly hit 40 points then has hovered between 30 and 40 for 3 months. Frankly, I get pissed off when it has a bad day and eats into my L2B profit! So, its done. Slowly find myself heading away from automation and looking to be more in control of my horse racing...

Not to mention I had a mare(no pun intended!) and accidently deleted my original one...along with some others

Anyone know what happened in the 16:45 at Cheltenham today?

Fiercely Proud looks to have been removed at 16:54, 9 minutes after the race was supposed to go off!

Was he arsing about, caused a massive delay and eventually got removed at the last minute?

hi all
does anyone know why in the strategy builder when i input something in the notes section i have to type it 3 or 4 times before it stays there, has anyone encountered this problem before, it has always done it

How’s everyone doing? Had a bit of a break. Been quite nice actually. Left the automation going and done nothing else. Managed to lose nearly two stone as well through diet and exercise. Ready to get back on the daily scalping and manual stuff again.

@Martin Personally I get grumpy if I end a single month with a loss on a strategy

I'd usually stick it out for a quarter though and then look at the history to see if such a losing run has ever happened before and take a view.

If it's a strategy with bets all year round and there's been no return for a quarter, I'd definitely be thinking about moving on as there are better opportunities.

Wondering if anyone has an amount of -points that they quit a strategy on.

I think if a strategy goes to -30pts it's usually one I will put on hold, wondering what other horse traders have as their own personal limits?

@Martin The races I managed to catch didnt look to have any adverse weather. Only 2 meets and not many selections across all my(3) strategies but a profit day is a good day!
