Poentials inplay lays for Thursday:
I'm only tracking these at prsent but if I get to 100 selections on either and it's still good I'll probably take a leap of faith.
-
Updating where I am on these winning warlock lays. Not looked at yield yet but experimenting with price points and the potential results can be seen here. Little more profit today with 2 winners and 1 loser on the one list and 2 winners, 0 losers on the other.

After measuring UK races to date @ 6f, 7f & 1 mile, see results below;
6f @ 1.81 -1.05pts (5 races)
7f @ 1.81 -1.43pts (3 races)
1m @ 1.81 -2.44pts (3 races
All Lengths -4.92pts (11races)6f @ 1.91 -1.82pts (9races)
7f @ 1.91 -0.84pts (8 races)
1m @ 1.91 -7.74pts (13races)Will continue to collect data on 30 races @ 1.81 before moving onto 2.04
I appreciate the above isn't really enough data to measure accurately but I need to start somewhere

@Charles-Cartwright if you're around I took your advice tonight and had another look but without all the forecasts and averages. What's left blows everything I had been doing away so far.
If it was to continue like this......well excuse my french but F**k me sideways!!!
This is just removing any inplay prices that don't go uunder 3.0 but using same criteria as before. Today was 1 win and a dead heat which as I understand it is half loss so still small profit if entering under 3.0.
More strict criteria brings up the following. Better strike rate but less than half the selections. 1 more win today.
One things for sure I'm definitely tracking this for a bit now!
-
In all honesty I'm tempted to just paper trade for the next few weeks until some form builds up as right now it seems nuts, rank outsiders winning by lengths and even the commentators themselves have said they aren't too sure at present.

@angus-macleod you might be right about the 1 milers!
They've been crap for me, noticed the 1445 got 2 matched but didn't go near that as it was a 5f then the 1515 would have had 2 matched but again I didn't trade that live. Very hit and miss this in my experience

@angus-macleod I'll give these a couple more weeks and then tweak if they don't profit
-
I only got 1 matched in the 14:15 @1.81

Today's Johnson runners - I have removed all the novice / maidens but kept all the handicaps in as wanted to get a feel for overall data rather than my selective approach - multiple runners in races isn't ideal but only paper trading so no harm done.

Not so good today. I imagine there's still something in this but until the stats software is here this is just taking me too long at the moment
Save me trawling through the thread( being a lazy git) what strategy was you using . I have tried scalping the horse racing markets 10mins from the off and not making any money. The ltf strategy seems a non profitable strategy in the long run so scratching my head being a novice with horse racing what to get involved in?
It was an experiment on horses listed in winning warlock as shortening well inplay over their last 5 races. Based on their average inplay price during this time as well as current price and forecast I was attempting to discern an entry point for each horse as a straight lay.
Too time consuming when I'm doing everything manually though and with football comiing back heavy it begn to get very hectic. Will see if I can work something out when we have the horse stats.
I can imagine hard to combine the two sports when football is like it is now. But then again you can get days like today where hardly any football (on my filters)and trading horses seems like a good idea. With little knowledge of horse racing I find it quite hard understanding some systems lol
To be fair I got more done around the house after I finished home schooling and then went and kicked a ball in a field for half hour. I'm well happy haha!!!

@martin-futter Will continue to collect 25 UK races in my original 3 odds range, 1.81, 1.98 & 2.04 (i.e. same as the US) then look at 1.61
-
2 matched in the 12:30 @ 1.98
2 matched in the 12:45 @ 1.98
2 matched in the 14:45 @ 1.98
3 matched in the 15:05 @ 1.98That said out of all the UK racing since it's been back today is the only profitable day thus far... But it's not over yet, could be more wins or could be more losses
