well we will wait with baited breath to see how ian's testing gets on and ill stop trading the short odds lays on saturday moving forward

have you been testing this ian? or are you going to be testing it?

Classic Trobs: Trob any between 3.5-9 as close to the off as you can. Avoid Heavy Ground.
Slow on the selection front at the moment. Getting a lot of runners over 90 days. So that will change in the next month

@ian-wylie Hi mate. I can't really see a lot wrong with either of those. There isn't many filters, which is always a good thing as a lot less risk of back fitting. Profitable to BSP as well which to be honest is the dream

@john-folan It certainly is, I'm filtering all my strats on day of the week now just to see what difference it makes.

I've got a start that I'm monitoring just now which is about laying favs at certain courses and distances so I filtered it by day of the week and it was in profit every day of the week apart from Saturday's. So I dropped Saturday's out of the strat and ran it through the back testing and the ROI went up by 3%! Happy days
Isn’t it great we can just do that?
