The meeting at Wagga has race lengths of 1740mtrs do I presume this to be Harness... Or is it ideal sprint racing?

@james-everard Seems kinda pointless haha! Can a horse even reach top speed within 2 furlongs haha?

These are quarter horses not thoroughbreds. Like comparing Usain Bolt to Mo Farah.

@richard-latimer Found from the few races i have watched one of the favourites normally wins probably as their speeds are known and less chance of an upset in a shorter race

Have we established that the Aussie meetings don't work or does anybody know which ones are good to go?

Think i have establisted the following race courses not to trade on as they are normally harness racing. Menangle, Albion Park, Globe Derby, Bunbury. What are the best courses i can't confirm but that will save you time not scrolling through these race cards

@richard-latimer Lol, love it... Obviously you know where I'm coming from, of course if no more get matched @ 2.0 than 1.8 then yes take the small green every time

@richard-latimer To be fair mate the profit from 1.8/1.82 on 2 getting matched doesn't really go anywhere does it.

But... If you could get more horses matched @ odds of 2.0 rather than 1.8/1.82 it would equal more profit... Wonder if it's possible to back track odds

What do you mean? I'm over the moon with my 37p haha!

This guy appears to have done some work on "Lay The Field"

    http://false-favourites.co.uk/blog/laying-the-field-with-this-deadly-effective-strategy-for-low-risk-profits/

He's been playing around with different numbers... We need to know where the numbers drop to in each race right?

Think you have hit the nail on the head, if we can find races where 3 or 4 can be matched inplay , but what is that number (odds)and what strike rate would you need to be profitable?

@alan-steward No I meant getting at least 2 matched. Trouble with 2.0 is you don't get a thing unless you can match 3 and every loss is obv a full point. I've tried it before but not been as choosy with race types. Worth tracking though along with everything else.

@richard-latimer do you mean Lay odds of 2? This could be easier to match couldn't it... Meaning more matched ='s more profit yeah?
