@john-folan hi John . The favourite in the 13.35 Dundalk seemed to qualify but then I noticed that there was no official rating available, so I assume this was the reason why the bot didn't bet on it. Whats usually the reason for no official rating available. Thanks
Needs to have won a race or placed in top six on at least three separate occasions. Also might not have one if they haven’t run for nine months.

@jonathan-jones ..the 5:25 does not come up on the LTF strategy, only one was Betrayed under C+D but the price was too big so a leave alone.....

Just done some tweaking on the strategy. Seems the software thinks its a 'conditional' so is excluding it. Nothing on the racecard though (unless its on the pro racecard but seems unlikely). Interestingly removing both those filters and dropping the runners min to 3 results in an improvement (think its the runners that improves it but the filters dont appear to break it too much)

s 4-14.
Odds Between 1.8-2.4.
DSLR: 3-200.Is this one of your strategies? TRying to work out the selection criteria vs the racecard. For example today there is no selction for Dundalk at 5:25 but i cant work out why. There is nothing on the RacingPost racecard that would exclude it. Only thing i can see is that 2 of the horses dont have a DSLR.
No idea. It wasn’t on the list earlier so I’ve not got any skin in it. I assume there’s a sensible reason

Morning guys. I need some help if anyone is free. Has anyone used betmover website it's a free site that monitors the racing charts, odds etc.
I'm looking at an early morning swing trade strategy which would be low risk but need a little guidance in understanding some of the lines on there.
Would love to collaborate and look into it with others.

This is more of a maths question than horse racing, but...
BFBM is the only software that allows separate banks for individual strategies. I've been using Fairbot on a % of bank to let it compound. I'm wondering how much of a difference it makes having separate banks vs % of overall?

Forward testing this after lots of messing around with the horse software. I'm still learning a lot about horse racing and getting my head around it, backtesting is seriously slick!
Will share some results if it maintains a positive form. It's essentially a back the fave, v similar selections come through as John's Back the Favourite from the member presets but with some different courses and trading days set up. Think there's a good chance I've just filtered out variance, in which case the forward testing will find that out!

I've just downloaded the short odd lays individual results. I've run my max drawdown calculator through it and it's coming in at just under 7%. Quite comfortable I think. I have been compounding these at 2% with ratchet(don't reduce stakes on losses) but I'm going to bang it up to 5%. I can deal with a 35% drawdown if it happens. I think @Ryan is doing a podcast on compounding soon. Einstein said compounding is the 8th wonder of the world(probably, but if he didn't he should have) and I agree. It has slowly transformed my trading the last year along with liability lays when I am using broader odds ranges(slower growth to straight points but lower drawdowns means bigger compounding rates).
Best thing is becasue of the new minimum £1 bet you can start your bank for a new strategy at £20, £50 and £100 depending on your rate of growth(5%, 2% and 1%) so you won't break your banks. As Gary Barlow said, all you need is a little patience(I've just quoted Einstein and Barlow in the same post. Told you I was a knob).
REAL BOTTOM OF THE BARRELL STUFF WHEN YOU HAVE TO QUOTE GB!!

@john-folan I haven’t emailed them yet, I’ll give that a go, if you do come across anything please let me know. Thanks
I'm pretty sure DSLR isn't an option in the Fairbot Conditions. You could email and ask them to put it on the enhancement list as it shows when you hover over a runner
