Watched something good? Share it here. Plus trailers for stuff that might be a bit decent. Thereโ€™s so much choice now.

    Edit.
Books and Games(computer or otherwise) as well. This thread is proving quite popular so may as well expand it a bit.

Read the first post on both threads.

@nick yeah it is half a series definitely. Rather that than they rush it and do a GOT

@Richard-Latimer Loved the show but was dissappointed with the end as felt it was more like half a series and left us hanging for series three.

Anyone watching Squid Game 2 on Netflix, I am half way thru at the moment and was sceptical before I started as I was worried it was going to just be more of the same, but they have improved on the first series with multiple threads to follow in the storyline.
    I would recommend.

@Richard-Latimer Liked Carry On, perfect evening of action without the need to think too much about it, I would say its not die hard but would recommend a watch.

@Ryan he's not as far as I'm aware. It's an allegory to the paralels of Rickman in Die Hard and Bateman in Carry-On๐Ÿ˜†

@Richard-Latimer I have seen all of Ozark, won't spoil it for anybody great show. He was amazing in it.

Didn't know he was going to be sheriff of Nottingham, will keep an eye out.

@Ryan I think he kind of started that with Ozark. Before Ozark he had played light comic characters in admittedly excellent shows. He had played the same kind of character in films and had also played the supporting actor in many film as the the forgettable dickhead.

Ozark he kind of turned into, if not a villain, very much an anti-hero who would do and say anything to keep himself and his family safe.

Won't go more spoiler than that in case you haven't seen it (I don't recall).

In Carry-On this is his first true villain. I think perhaps akin to Rickman who prior to Gruber was not known for these kinds of roles. So maybe this is just the start of a new direction for Bateman and he has his Sheriff of Nottingham to come haha!

@Ryan said in Netflix/Amazon/Gaming and Book Recommendations:

@Richard-Latimer Yea I watched it, not a patch on die hard.

I felt like it it had all the potential to be brilliant but was just a bit lacklustre for me.

@Ryan I really enjoyed it. Think Jason Bateman is showing real range these days and I've liked most of the stuff I've seen Taron Egerton is.

Set to be the new alternative Christmas choice I reckon.

If anybody is a fan of old school horror movies I can highly recommend Terrifier and Terrifier 2. Both are currently on Amazon Prime.

Real tip of the hat to old school horror with these. The first film was made, I think, with around 50k which is total peanuts in the film world. It shows but is still an excellent film. They had more money for the 2nd film (about 250k I think) still peanuts but was really good.

The guy playing the Art the Clown was superb.

So what was everyone's spotify wrapped like this year?

My most played song apparently Live Forever followed by Don't Delete The Kisses (Wolf Alice) and then Mother We Share (Churches).

    Most played Artist The Manics.

    @John-Folan

Dont know how many of you listen to podcasts but I have been listening to the 'Betting Weekly Dojo with Neil Channing and Nigel Seeley since its start and I would recommend it as a very enjoyable listen,
Its not really a tipping podcast but more two guys talking about their life in the betting industry with some stories that they remember from days gone buy.
Anyone who knows Neil Channing or has seen him on various tv shows will know that he can talk for England and is a great listen

In this weeks one as an aside they were talking about test cricket and Neil was saying that of 47 tests this year there have been no draws except for one due to weather and whether it was worth the lay.

Dunno if any of our cricket guys had looked into this?
