Watched something good? Share it here. Plus trailers for stuff that might be a bit decent. There’s so much choice now.
Edit.
Books and Games(computer or otherwise) as well. This thread is proving quite popular so may as well expand it a bit. -

A Thousand Blows on Disney+ is best thing they have put out on the service IMO, Stephen Graham and creator of Peaky Blinders.
Stephen Graham is brilliant in almost anything. Adolescence is on my list to watch soon.

Just finished watching Season 1 of Shogun. Totally engrossing and captivating TV. Not the end I was hoping for but I will say no more for spoilers. Hopefully Season 2 maintains the quality.
Also watching 'The Artful Dodger' with my partner. Not what I thought it was going to be like at all. Basically an 1850's variant on ER or the like. Absolutely grim in certain moments but very funny in others.
And despite my best efforts I've yet to find out when Surgeons stopped drinking on the job and it became a more professional and paid occupation.

Had one of those days I love where I've just been watching films throughout the day.
Not a bad one among them and I'd recommend them all in some capacity.
Past Lives. Korean boy and girl sweethearts separated at 12 when one emigrated to the States.
Both meet many years later when adults with lives of their own. Sweet, sad, moving.
Flora & Son. Irish single mum struggling with her unruly kid suddenly decides she's going to learn guitar. Funny and sweet with a touch of what could be.
The best by far though is a Ken Loach offering called The Old Oak.
Syrian refugees bused into an old mining town are met by hatred and fear. All the racist slurs come out as they are told to go home by many.
Little by little the community begins to offer friendship, welcome and acceptance.
It's the kind of film that gives you hope things can get better.

@Akiva-Anderson seen Hamilton. Yes agree it was very good. Went and saw Much Ado About nothing this weekend. That was good too. Tom Hiddlestone and Hayley Attwell were excellent
Because Chloe is involved in Musical Theatre, we're never away from it. I used to go out to bars and nightclubs, now most weekends I'm in the theatre!

@John-Folan How about Podcasts too?

Just back from London. Saw three shows at the West End.
Hamilton - excellent as always, but preferred it in New York. 7/10
Mean Girls - didn’t want to go see this, but my daughter insisted. It was very funny 7.5/10
HadesTown - unbelievable from start to finish. This was the original Broadway cast. They were exceptional. 8.5/10

My son has got me into a bit of Anime lately.
Blue Eye Samurai - Outstanding
Arcane - Steampunk. What is not to like?
Pantheon - Love this slightly in the future sci-fi. Very clever.
Will be doing Attack on Titan next.
Some decent stuff to watch while there is so much rubbish being pumped out generally.
The two BTC weirdos

RIP David Lynch nobody quite like him. Nobody close.
Most fucked up weird films I've ever seen.
Twin Peaks a cold hard classic and the return to Twin Peaks somehow managed to maintain both the feel of the original and the quality. No drop off at all.
-
@nick yeah it is half a series definitely. Rather that than they rush it and do a GOT
-
@Richard-Latimer Loved the show but was dissappointed with the end as felt it was more like half a series and left us hanging for series three.
-
@nick binged it with my son. Very good.

Anyone watching Squid Game 2 on Netflix, I am half way thru at the moment and was sceptical before I started as I was worried it was going to just be more of the same, but they have improved on the first series with multiple threads to follow in the storyline.
I would recommend. -
@Richard-Latimer Gotcha lol that makes sense now!

@Richard-Latimer Liked Carry On, perfect evening of action without the need to think too much about it, I would say its not die hard but would recommend a watch.
