Despite the crap reviews Jupiter’s Legacy is surprisingly good. Audiences’s seem to like it 38% review score on Rotten Tomatoes but a 73% Audience Score. The public have it so far(episode 4).

Anyone watched Brassic? Recommendation from a family member. Bunch of lads committing petty crimes up north. Pretty funny so far!
It's got Grumio in from Plebs and the if you're familiar. Also Joe Gilgun from This Is England.
-
@darri I agree, they have their own tv channels the top teams anyways they already have the kit they just need to get smarter with their content.
Yes you are right, on ads alone on YT the club would get millions a year in revenue, plus it would hit massive audiences their sales in shirts would increase as a result lol

@dan-mackinnon I think it might have been that one, I’ll dig it out and check it. I mean I watched the end of the storm by sky 1.5 hours and it wasn’t anything special.
I love the CrossFit ones they they do, I literally buy it every year to watch it. They’ve nailed it! I don’t even do CrossFit lol because if I did I’d tell you wouldn’t I?

@john-folan I'm totally special.....

Just started watching Jupiter's Legacy tonight with my son. Decent enough adult aimed superhero fodder. Nice origin story with flashbacks where you're piecing the puzzle together.
Agree there. It got a slagging on rotten tomatoes by the critics but ‘normal’ people like it
Not you then Mr Autism?!
Feck off Mr ADHD

@martin-futter Good call on Castlevania. Enjoying it immensely. You might want to give Love and Robots a try. Second series just out. 10-15 minute shorts. Very Black Mirror.
-
Finished 'When They See Us'. Well worth a watch.

@martin Had that on my list for ages but never given it a go. Think I may do so
I may join you there. Just finished Shadow and Bone which finished well.
-
Going to go a little left-field here but Castlevania on Netflix is really good. It's essentially an animated adaptation of the video game series. If you can look past that though it has been done very well. Very dark! Imagine Game of Thrones as a cartoon.

@ryan doing a behind the scenes with klopp would be great to watch, liverpool did quite well with them doing the zoom calls over lockdown and iv seen trent and robertson started their own youtube/podcast show on there too.
Youtube is a undervalued platform right now. I still cant quite understand why teams arent fully utilising its potential. The money is huge. You dont even need to be making them these amazon esq type production quality either can just be a few cameras at the training ground doing skill challenges like crossbar challenge end of each session. I work with a fair few youtubers who makes staggering amounts doing just this. Imagine if a football club with a massive fanbase ramped this up with production quality and die hard fanbase. Can you see why i started a production company? This is such a passion of mine. There is also twitch now too. Most of these clubs are trying to use their own mainstream channels on tv behind a paid subscription and really missing out on getting into this free to watch content. Theyd make money on ads and sponsorships with these platforms, im a celtic fan we have celtic tv but im not forking out money to watch some naff interviews during the week, however i might if it was free on YouTube or Facebook. Yet its free for us and the clubs would get money because they could get money from ads and then get them sponsored which could be huge money honestly some youtubers are making ££££s with them imagine a fully grown club doing it. Still dont think teams have fully understood the online space yet, maybe after covid and seeing how that period went they might up this side of their income etc.
@Dan-MacKinnon depends on the quality and skills of the 2 fans. The amazon behind the scenes of spurs, city and the other ones like aus cricket team are huge production budgets with unreal quality gear. Thing with these ones are tho that you can make a good documentary off a semi decent cam and sound equipment, the iphones right now are more than enough. You look at any of the docs, its typically in an interview setting with just 2 cameras, good lighting and good sound. Then in between interviews its some sort of action from the sport. This is all very easy to shoot. Its not as if its the whole game. Of course it will take time and effort and the clubs wont want any shoddy footage which could affect the image of the brands but if done well then the money is there. Thing is as fans we would watch anything even if the quality was on a handheld device, think teams have this whole branding thing going on. Sky sports have started to really improve on this with their online stuff now, actually making content for it which is more popular than their main shows.
