@Stephen-Hancox taken a small red on my personal draw lay here weather up here is grim this morning. Hoping there may be some opportunities to trade on Sunday
-
According to The met office the weather forecast for Sunday looked ok this time yesterday. Then at close of play last night it looked a wash out. Right now it looks better on Sunday afternoon. Amazing how the outlook changes so much in a short space of time. So I'm thinking there's still hope late on Sunday. But no play today.
-
The prospect of any play at Old Trafford looks very slim indeed with banks of incessant rain apparently heading towards Manchester, so it wouldn't surprise me to see the draw price slide down to well under 1.5 during the course of the day.
Ultimately everything will hinge on whether England can pick up the remaining 6 wickets between the likely showers tomorrow. I wouldn't rule it out.

Aussie luck kicking in ffs
Knew WI would fight better
Hoped for a 1.05 type lay ha
Maybe still will some point
Draw lay on cards tho -

As it stands both bbc and met have both Sat/Sun as total washouts... so you could back the draw for a swing yeah.
How long do we think England need? 2 sessions?
Yeh, price came in nicely

Is it worth a back of the draw just before stumps? Have to feel the price will shorten by the time play resumes (possibly not until sunday)
-
Wood has bowled one over, taken a wicket and conceded four runs edged through the slips, and hasn't bowled again an hour since. Makes no sense to me.
-
Boom... the door is open now. Come on England.
-
Gotta feel an early wicket or two are on the cards for England; simply have to lay the draw at 2.3. Lots of overs still to come today.
-
He shouldnt have taken that run
-
What are we watching
-
Time to bowl stokes
Unless has a diff forecast ha -
@Richard-Futter how long would you expect England to bat for? I can't imagine there will be a lot of runs from Australia so a huge lead probably isn't required.
-
Looks like there might well be a short lived shower just after the lunch break around 1340 but shouldn't amount to much.
-
England ticking over nicely; would imagine they'll be rather more aggressive after lunch.
-
Also has sunday forecast improved ?
-
The Met office rainfall radar is now showing very little rain around the Manchester area. Hopefully we get it wrapped up today!
-
@Dan-MacKinnon If you got on at 10 well done. Sitting pretty with them now over 20 and I can't see them shortening very much; they're bowling and fielding with everyone on the boundary so are obviously settling for a draw if, as expected, there's very little play on the final two days.
