@Gavin-Rumsey just hoping we get aus below 10 if we declare 263 highest chase here! Only two fourth inning totals over 369 too.

@Martin The chat on TMS is suggesting the weather looks better next 2 days. They might bat on on a bit. But stokes might fancy 30mins at them tonight. Who knows!

I'm slowly recovering from my day there yesterday. The slow first session just meant more beers were needed!

yes pending england INNS score draw could be backable when aus bat if the price is right for a swing
    also
if england get stupid low eyeing a lay

ENG 1.75 LAY see how it goes assess when they two down
market stale for the moment seeems good time for eng lays

laying any green on the draw side aswell for now 5.2

@Fraser-cord I wouldn't be laying Aus just now. Duckett and Crawley could easily go cheaply and heaven knows who'll be batting at number three!

I want to lay the draw a lot but the price is still a bit spicy!

I wouldn't be surprised if the draw is very much bigger by the end of play today. England won't be hanging about.

But a word of caution, while the forecast for Monday seems to be improving it does seem as though there'll be rain for much of tomorrow afternoon.

Even so, I'd have the draw around 20 rather than the current price of around 7.

Im glad someone else has said so as i keep doubting myself due to the forecast. England will score fast and will take risks (hence chance of wickets), both will surely push the price up. Just need to make sure you exit before any weather arrives as the price could sharply fall.

I want to Lay AUS as i feel they don't have the same motivation to win the Test, allowing for a big England score and rain stopping a result. But conditions will be bowler friendly again so don't think its a sound move, as early wickets destroy this and make it more of a bet than a trade.

Would an AUS lay be sound with a couple of early wickets? My worry would be England just go for it, get out cheap and give them an easy win.

The win predictor has the draw at 4%, but I'm not sure it takes into account Monday's weather forecast. Mind you I don't reckon we'll go past Sunday in any case.

Broad strikes again! Nice green on AUS lay šŸ‘

Next plan is probably to bide my time and lay the draw if it gets to 5 or below.

Bit quick on the trigger trading out but oh well green is green!

Labuschagne is making Sir Geoffrey Boycott look like Sir Garfield Sobers. Happy Birthday to the greatest all rounder of all time.

The Aussie tactics are obvious: to bore everyone to death!

@Karl-Pick Sadly I think it's unlikely we'll see Archer play Test cricket again. His dodgy elbow just won't stand up to it. I think he'll probably end up like his Sussex colleague Tymal Mills and concentrate on T-20. I'm a big fan of Robinson (as a player anyway) but he does have big fitness issues.

@Richard-Futter I agree we should have stuck with Tongue. For years I've felt we need as much pace as possible to compete, especially in Australia. But I suppose Broad and Anderson have done so well in recent years that it's been difficult to do that. I was totally against bringing Woakes back, but glad we did (for this series).

Think Anderson has had his day-this is One serious too far, crying out for Woods and Archer, think Woakes will fill the void left by Anderson and Broad as he's very Line and Length but can bat which is big advantage, jury out on Tongue and just not keen on Robinson.
