Flipped now after greening up and laying England at 2.02 expecting a India fight back after lunch.
Bugger. Went against my judgement to stick with the India lay till lunch and it backfired.

The old draw trim to end session
damn 4 down reckon 10 ticks and auto lay draw

Jimmy Anderson is totally amazing. We're gonna miss him when he's gone!
-
7.4-6.0 ended up back to lay draw
Using the buffer and some on ENG lay
-
@richard-futter it could be a nice toss to lose. If they get one of these two by lunch it will be a great one to have lost.
-
brilliant work early layers
small draw back me 5's be nice
nothing serious as far as staking
just pinching green attempt -
@james-woodroffe Great lay James! Good toss to lose?
-
Early lay of India at 2.06. Not a long term hold more a early morning new ball trade.
As Richard said if India get to lunch only 2 down they will be in a very strong position. -
India batting first. I think it will be difficult to begin with but if they get through to lunch losing no more than two wickets, they'll be in a very strong position.
Will be fascinating to see how England bowl. Years ago this was a venue where wickets fell quickly to the seamers, but that's been less the case in recent times.

Nasser says it's a 50-50 bat/bowl first morning. Could be early wickets either way.

Got to be a bat first day today surely, after the events at Lord's. India are rightly favourites. To be honest, I'm slightly surprised they're not even firmer favourites. I guess punters are factoring in the way England came back the last time they were at home to Kohli's talented side.
Looks as though we'll get five clear days, so the draw looks a very unlikely outcome; as ever anything around 3 or under has to be a lay. England certainly need to win, and Kohli doesn't strike me as the kind of captain to settle for a stalemate.
Speaking of which, what a great, sporting declaration from Babar Azam for Pakistan, a decision which certainly led to Pakistan levelling the series in the West Indies. From a trading point of view, it's worth remembering what happened in Jamaica if Babar ever finds himself in a similar position - he's clearly always looking for a positive result, even at the risk of possibly losing. Most other captains - including Joe Root I suspect - would have batted quite a bit longer and might have missed their chance of a win because of it.

I was still on the draw on day 5, so I nearly had a heart attack when the rain hit. Will look at trading the massive swings after a wicket if in the same situation again. Still, profit on the match plus a little on the T20, and I'm heading oop north this afternoon in preparation for a day at Headingley tomorrow. Front row seat at Mid Off and hoping 4g is good.
Looks to be overcast for most of the game and the wicket is supposed to be slow.
-
Fantastic effort from Pakistan, apart from some frustrations day two and 1st session of day 3 this was a joy to trade and we go straight onto the next today at Headingley
-
Really should of been a massive fill up this test
Time zone pain ha
Onto the next -
From the draw trading at 1.19 to a Pakistan win that never really seemed in doubt once we got all the rain out the way in one day.
Blast returning tonight and the 3rd test starting tomorrow with the CPL on Thursday. Hope everyone had a profitable test so much cricket coming up in the 2nd half of the year. -
@james-woodroffe fantastic!
