Nasser says it's a 50-50 bat/bowl first morning. Could be early wickets either way.

Got to be a bat first day today surely, after the events at Lord's. India are rightly favourites. To be honest, I'm slightly surprised they're not even firmer favourites. I guess punters are factoring in the way England came back the last time they were at home to Kohli's talented side.

Looks as though we'll get five clear days, so the draw looks a very unlikely outcome; as ever anything around 3 or under has to be a lay. England certainly need to win, and Kohli doesn't strike me as the kind of captain to settle for a stalemate.

Speaking of which, what a great, sporting declaration from Babar Azam for Pakistan, a decision which certainly led to Pakistan levelling the series in the West Indies. From a trading point of view, it's worth remembering what happened in Jamaica if Babar ever finds himself in a similar position - he's clearly always looking for a positive result, even at the risk of possibly losing. Most other captains - including Joe Root I suspect - would have batted quite a bit longer and might have missed their chance of a win because of it.

I was still on the draw on day 5, so I nearly had a heart attack when the rain hit. Will look at trading the massive swings after a wicket if in the same situation again. Still, profit on the match plus a little on the T20, and I'm heading oop north this afternoon in preparation for a day at Headingley tomorrow. Front row seat at Mid Off and hoping 4g is good.

Looks to be overcast for most of the game and the wicket is supposed to be slow.

Fantastic effort from Pakistan, apart from some frustrations day two and 1st session of day 3 this was a joy to trade and we go straight onto the next today at Headingley πŸ’ͺ🏼

From the draw trading at 1.19 to a Pakistan win that never really seemed in doubt once we got all the rain out the way in one day.
Blast returning tonight and the 3rd test starting tomorrow with the CPL on Thursday. Hope everyone had a profitable test so much cricket coming up in the 2nd half of the year. 🍻🍻

@nathan-bennett stupidly greened up again after that muppet Powell ran him self out. Backed the draw at 4 would love 2.50 but for the cricket nerds it’s going to be a fantastic day 5. Huge week with Eng v Ind and the CPL starting on Thursday also. πŸ‘πŸ»

@nathan-bennett Pak 2.20 would be lovely. Had a tiny sprinkle on WI at 16.50 also.

Greened up and happy to have a small lay of Pakistan at 1.39 to try and nab a bit more green.
Powell playing for his career, Brathwaite needing to lead from the front. Myers to show he’s no 1 innings wonder and Holder to show some middle order grit. It’s a spicy declaration. Would love to see Pakistan get to about 1.75 tomorrow cause a WI collapse is always around the corner. πŸ€”

Love this. Strike rate of 200, opening in a Test match. Hope Sibley is watching as he starts the journey to reinvent himself πŸ™‚

Long term Is it best to lay Pak or the draw? Cheeky side trade after greening up listening to advice and held on and not trading out, I've put a few on backing WI @32's incase it shortens with a couple quick wickets

Lovely little session and no rain on the horizon by the looks of things. Draw price has come in again to almost odds on. Lovely lay at 1.19 before hitting around 2.40. Should be a fascinating afternoon session and would not be at all surprised if Pakistan open with Babar and Rizwan as they look to score quickly. Still looking at 158 overs approximately in the test.

Draw drifting out since post lovely.

70 overs left today but won't get that many in. 60 is probably a push because WI won't be in a rush to bowl their overs. Hopefully Pak will roll the tail quickly then runs and wickets should both send the Draw in the right direction. No dots please.
