@stuart-wallace SA were an easy lay in the end, very similar progression but they weren’t holding up to the pressure, came was over with Van Der Dussen wicket
yep, easy to see.

Really sad to see Eng so toothless in the bowling dept.
So many tests recently just meandered to draws. They talk about Test match cricket being boring - here you are.! -

Definitely LTD when the new ball arrives
Problem is that Eng dont have any bowlers to exploit the new ball.

Fisher gone from 138 clicks in first opening spell to 123 now. !

Big total for Bangladesh, only one succesful chase here higher than this at 318, may well lay SA in play but will wait and see what unfolds
SA coming back - Worm graph looks remarkably similar.

@stuart-wallace I stuck with the draw back in the end. WI have got to score 700 runs to have a shout at winning so their odds are probably accurate now.
Yeah, you're right Luke, i suppose i wasnt thinking about a WI win at this stage, just maybe a bit of profit to be taken with the WI price shortening . Its already come in from a high (when i saw it ) of 60's to 34 now.
TBH, thinking about it in hindsight, backing WI was the optimum trade to make, what with 1) A benign pitch and 2) Englands lack of quality bowling and 3) WI such high price. Would have made a killing by backing WI at start of innings, or when their first wicket fell, but as usual hindsight is a wonderful thing ! And a mental note made for the next Test.

@stuart-wallace given how easy its been for us to bat and our 3rd choice bowling attack, how many overs of wicketless cricket would you wait?
Hi Matt,
Sorry, been busy at work, and just seen this.
Personally, i would be looking to start making some decisions some 10 overs in today. Firstly, see if there are any inroads this first hour, and then can assess from there.
One thing that i have heard people say is that this is going to turn on days 4 and 5, and so far, Permaul and Leach have both found some (slow) turn - and they are not the biggest spinners by any means. So, this could become tricky to bat then, so the LTD will still become relevant.
Scenario: WI bat for another 4 sessions, and score a total of 400, then England will still be 110 ahead with 2 sessions left in day 4 where England could maybe look to get a lead of 350, thus being able (at a stretch,i know, but possible) to put WI back in again for 30 mins at end of Day 4. I wouldnt see Windies surviving tbh.
Also, last 7 Tests at Barbados have all had results. -

True, looks like there might be a bit of spice in this pitch down the line. I will definitely be looking for a spot to ltd at some point too.

Will be ltd when WI bat for early wickets but expect to be switching to a lay of Eng once a partnership gets going
If a partnership gets going, it may be a better trade to Back WI - their odds are ridiculously high.
