The AUS price came in around 10 so thought I'd be brave and put a small lay on. Either ENG are going to push for the win or rain might play a factor. AUS don't need to win so you think if they had a big target to chase they might play for the draw.
Is that reasonable or am I being optimistic? AUS price has already drifted back to 14 so not a losing trade at present.
I was going to do the same, but changed my mind. Really hard to see how the Aussies can win this one.

play on time wow

@Richard-Futter love this . that ball to root

Raining in Manchester this morning (shocker!) and forecasts aren't great, but looking at the radar it seems to me that the worst of the wet stuff might have passed through by 10.30 and there could be quite a lot of play from around midday onwards. And, with the way the pitch is behaving just now, batting could be very tough indeed for Australia as the clouds descend in the post tea session. Certainly worth a gamble laying the draw around 2 IMO.

@Martin I think that 4 days will likely be sufficient, but will we get 4 days in is the question. Draw price as i see it wont move much, unless ENG declare at lunch with a 200 run lead and AUS lose 3/4 in middle session. However, rain is forecast for most of today too, as well as days 4 and 5 .
Good decision to dump Old Trafford imo, 1) we dont have a good record there 2) crap weather and 3) crap stadium. However, Headingley is a different matter in that we have a good record there. Ageas Bowl is a lovely stadium with likely better weather too. -
@Nathan-Bennett maybe this is why they axed northern tests!
-
@Stuart-Wallace hope you layed! got to admit this price is tempting me even still, may only need four days play if England get another 100 plus!
-
Draw gone odds on.
-
Please rain stay away
England are winning these ashes if doesNo Lyon no ashes
Backed some draw 2.2 green that 1.7’s stop loss 2.4 (ABORTED)

That's a great knock from Crawley. Second fifty from 26 deliveries!

Ricky Ponting commentary so on point it’s like he’s had a word to the coaching staff / players . then come upstairs to pass on his thoughts on air as tactics being implemented

@Fraser-cord nothing wrong draw lay ENG AUS test . England know whats coming i don't think they would be phased if they were rolled for 225 ish but to give themselves a chance to lead by 125 for example
so surely today its either runs or wickets and worst case draw market hovers around your entry pointOk excellent, thanks for the advice. This really helps, all part of the learning curve. Would hate to make a stupid mistake and undo the past weeks good work.

From my limited knowledge, the swings in the Eng vs Aus match seem minimal compared to previous tests. That plus the forecast makes me nervous about getting involved in draw lay at the current price. Any advice on what could be value?
However WI vs Ind starts today, draw there currently at 5.5. I'm guessing it depends who bats 1st but if India are in, this should come in a bit, making it a great opportunity, although weather looking patchy?

@David-Milligan high high chance

@Nathan-Bennett maybe a lay to back towards the end of the day if price drifts?
