The road to full time

There are no LTDs tomorrow, so no need to check in hope we are enjoying the break, iv been honing my horse racing trading in prep for getting in amongst the software. I think its healthy for people to take a break from the norm and give a bit of creative freedom into other things from time to time. Makes everything less mundane. Iv a "fun bank" set aside, its still trading with a plan, but its less focussed on making huge gains. Just enough to make it meaningful but also more importantly enough to work on how those market and strategies work. Id post them but ill leave that until i have anything proven to show, right now just theories and regaining my horse racing strats. Up today tho and if this goes well over int break could really think about it. My plan is when the software is fully up that horse racing can be my weekly thing and trade the set and forgets around them. Nice healthy work/life balance with HR given the timing of races.

@james-rome iv a feeling without even looking that all the ones ill be posting will be very similar, this isnt new for me just trying to make these things aware for members on here. Im doing them so may aswell post them up. Not going to make this about other sites or other bookies. Slow and steady. If people enjoy these then profit accumulator would be an obvious move. These are just my ones and ones built for the extra rewards club which sky give
-
@darri if you doing them and laying for a free bet try a facegroup called team profit its a match betting group they post daily boosts from bookies with exchange odds.
-
@james-rome yep, when i was in trouble with gambling i used every site and never took advantage of matched betting with the sign ups. Im now just slowly taking advantage of these types of things, slower process but seems to not be so prone to restricting accounts. I know it is still matched betting, but because of the restrictions they place on these enhanced boosts already (limited stake) seems less likely to care.

@darri good luck with it mate, miss my bookie accounts
off match betting i am restricted there boosts where normally very good made alot from them off match betting. Paddy power also do good ones
-
@martin Iv a lot of credit with the bookies after being a terrible gambler. I only use Sky because of how you can do these type of free bets and be eligible for the free rewards off back of them. Ill get caught one day i suppose, but until that day just topping up and paying for subscriptions with it
This will be even better to use when the HR software is available easy money

No LTDs today.
What i have done is placed a free bet position on the england vs nz t20 wc game. Sky bet £10 on their enhanced price, lay Eng on the exchange in the "inc tie" market for a nice free bet should england win.
Yes its not in line with the type of money im making with bank but these add up over the year. We did one last week with ronaldo SOT. I use the free bet club they have so when you take advantage of these prices its just easy money adding to it for free. Ill add a sheet on my results to show these and what you can get from them over time. Its not meaningless money, although im sure matched bettors will have already gubbed there account. Fun ones to follow if you can.

Just the one for the LTD today:
Tenerife (spain)
Ill keep these going over int break as and when but other than that the blog will be quiet next 2 weeks. When we come back ill likely only be trading LTDs and Ov 1.5s as the football calendar becomes a real mess in fitting games in. Its always the best test for any football trader because your volume increases. Hopefully the tips iv given on this blog will help those out for it. Just be careful
1/1 there are no trades tomorrow
-
Its perhaps a good talking point the december period. Iv actually considered not trading it. Might sound silly as surely more trades more profit, but actually so many new variables come into play. The schedule being the main issue. Think about the volume people have normally, well now you are almost doubling that amount. Double the profits/Double the risk.
Im sure over this period we will see many posts about people struggling on the football thread. Similar to the ones we see after weekends when people say they cant make weekends profitable. Now you are having that volume midweek too.
Lets not forget not only are we double the volume but so are the teams involved. Squad rotation is now a necessity, meaning weaker teams struggle, the big only get better. Remember Fergie's united always performed well here. This is an invisible variable that could bomb strategies based purely off data.
Whats my plans? Im an aggressive trader, people will have seen that in past, even when things are turning sour i remain that way and see it through, mostly returning to a profit. So while im aware of the risks that december brings ill continue to go with my strats. I think long term when my bank is at a level im not compounding anymore ill likely avoid this period for trading. Sometimes people have to just remove themselves of any risk to bank, decembers volume alone is going to make or break banks. Just a word of warning, im sure it wont put people off but maybe it really should.

LTDs for today:
Kashiwa (japan)
Aue (germany)
Zlin (czech)
Akhmat (russia)
Rennes (france)Great day yesterday on these with 8/9 winning, hopefully rest of month builds on that
Back to back good days on the LTDs, hope some got on these
-
@chris-osborne he did, however in my book its still a red trade and the "what if" has happened too many times on the strat for the past 2 weeks for my mindset. If he scored one of those would i be contemplating leaving this for rest of year? Yes i would. For me I prefer to spot trends that could be cutting our profits, im pretty ruthless with stopping even when things are way in profit. Its been great the amount these have made last month. The LTD and my ov1.5 did have a large list this weekend. In fact between the 2 of them i decided to not trade the 1.5s because it was a large outlay for the whole weekend. So back to basics and remain concentrated on the set and forget systems i have in place because they are working.
-
@darri in all fairness Mane missed two absolute sitters
-
Bubble perhaps bursting on the Goalscorers strategy. Mane obviously could have corrected that with 2 great chances but seems to me that the trading gods are trying to get us to stop it.
Going into the int break ill be reviewing everything and making sure we keep momentum going rest of year. Likely with such a busy period that it could be a set and forget only portfolio rest of year. Ill look into it more over the break.
-
Goalscorers
West ham vs Liverpool
Jota 2.98
Mane 2.94Total Outlay 2 points

@chris-osborne cheers
