Someone posted a strategy the other day cant remember if it was here or on twitter. It really griped me a bit. I genuinely think people stumble on a good runs with insanely risky strats and then flaunt it to everyone and boom everyone is now on it. Then the inevitable happens, that risky strategy suddenly drops. People really need to understand risk/reward. Iv seen people risk upwards to 10 points on shgs/ltds. WHY?!! This is just risk for pure greed. If you have a strategy that genuinely can make bank regularly then just let it do so with smaller risk. Everything compounds. For me all these types of risks are just you compounding your losses in the long run, eventually those losses will come knocking and destroy your bank back to square one. Do not laugh at the trader who just goes about his business casually making small but consistent gains. They can plan ahead for months/years and never feel risk. I really hope people get to grips with this asap. Its probably only due to me having done those mistakes in the past to realise this. Slow and steady might not win the race, but if you are racing in trading your doing it wrongly and will not succeed.

@andy-donnelly Thats exactly how i viewed this, then it started to outperform my expectations. All about tracking and testing. Healthy mindset. Right now i just trade around them with the things i enjoy knowing the ltd works and will tick along nicely. All you need is something that makes consistent gains, and something that can be compounded with the bank.
-
@darri Thanks for explaining. Interesting, may look into this type of strategy a bit more to supplement other strategies. Cheers
-
@andy-donnelly no problem mate, i might stick the rules in the description for new members catching up.
I trade these pre match. When i post them up im entering them with current market prices or queueing a sub 4.0 lay price and stake is to win 1pt/1% of bank, so no more than 3 points ever at risk, currently averaging 3.5 odds. Im then letting that win/lose. Its a pure set and forget strategy and allows me to get on with my day.
You could trade these inplay, getting in at HT, getting out if 2-0 up, or exiting when it hits a certain price (this one iv considered even with set and forget). For me these work just fine as set and forget and mean im not needing to be at the comp for an exit trade.
-
@darri New to reading this thread, so apologies if you've already mentioned this, but for your LTD, what entry and exit points are you using? And how much do the in-play stats impact those points
-
Close to a good day, then the ltd lets us down. Back tomorrow for champs league, there are no ltds for tomorrow

Let me know if there are any topics you want discussed or anything im doing explained more. I cant always do in depth posts off top of my head and normally its a result of someone asking privately or on this forum. I dont want this always to be me posting trades. I like the balance this blog has always had between trades for bank building but also helping people think about their trading. I think i like both parts of that and need it for me to continue to post. Hope people like the end of month review, iv a few planned add ons for next months for a nicer layout. People who are asking for help privately ill get to them asap. Like i said if you want a topic discussed let me know

Im continuing to update the header here end of each month so that new members can catch up quick to whats going on, but just a healthy reminder of the summary:
21st March 2021(9pm) = £1,000
Current Bank = £3,299
Profit/Loss = +£2,299
Points = +158.73
2021 Bank Increase = +229%The art of compounding im glad i withdrew my main bank all that time ago, re doing this whole process has definitely given me a confidence boost that it wasnt just luck first time round. Hopefully approaching the 2nd £10k milestone within just shy of a 1 year period is insane returns. Looking forward to regaining that milestone with this version of my trading.

End of month review:
This is often the time of month when i want to detail everything and explain to you and myself what/why/how im doing things. Iv been rambling away over the last month or so about how im adapting trading with my lifestyle. This has resulted in me caring less about the granular level stuff. Really its not gonna make much difference. All i need is an amount made on the bank to be able to compound every month or so. Yes rich of me to say so when im consistently making profit, some struggle for that but remember iv been doing this for years now. Im talking only about my situation. But ill give a summary of my plans going forward.
LTD had an ok month. Please factor in there was a small loss first half of month and this was eaten up by profit in the 2nd half, thankfully. I know this is now a pretty heavy strategy for a few traders/maybe more so im hoping it continues to do well. Iv honestly not tweaked anything for a while with these. Nothing added or removed. Its still my main "system" and the one im building around. Over time youll see me narrow down on a set way of trading and this will hopefully remain the most consistent one. So doing well and there is still more tweaks of improvement to come, great position for them.
Lets address the RED. I was always going to have a stinker after bullishly saying that european nights were gold mines. They are i just traded 2 games badly. This is a hold hands up moment, i traded like a complete novice with 2 teams i never trade. Barca and Real. Iv even done blog posts about them. Just leave them alone and move on. Instead i committed pretty much most of the losses on those games. Had i not had success elsewhere this would be an update on me slagging myself. Instead we move on and accept it was a mistake, they all happen. Even im prone to bloopers.
Goalscorers is a new strategy that has taken off. Its the main reason for my spike in bank this month. The idea is for 1 goalscorer (main trade here) to make us profit in a match, but if 2 or more score we get extra rewards. For me this is only to ever tick along the bank. These jumps are seldom but when they happen its a nice boost. Im not just willy nilly placing these either there is method, but im working on that as we go along. For me this is a fun strategy, next month these will be limited to 1/2 points per match/rather than 1 point per player. I really wouldnt mind adding this as a main strat for the time being. I dont see it as a scalable option but while stakes are sub £200 this can work and it builds the bank nicely.
The rest is probably only interesting to myself. Iv perhaps overtraded somethings and got lucky at others. Im just narrowing in again on what i like and dont like. I suffered from boredom a while back and only recently enjoyed trading again. The objective is to trade around the main strats (ltd right now) and make sure it only adds not reduces P/L. It keeps me interested. Right now not much is happening but we are away to hit my birthday and xmas time, so time wont be there for trading and will be set and forget only. But while i have time and feel like it, i will trade inplay. I like this mindset. Pick up and play when i want. I see so many doing what i did and commit hours to this, its just not healthy and wont work long term. All you ever need is something simple, makes consistent bank and something to compound. You really dont need the "best" strategy or "best" portfolio to do so. Just keep this simple as you can i spend like 20 mins a day on trading nothing more.
In the background for anyone interested, iv got an ov1.5 and an xG based couple of strats away to come through over the next few months. Im wanting to start trading the 1.5s now but will wait till after new year for the xG one. The xG one is by far my favourite strategy. Its ridiculous in the returns its getting. However like iv been saying to others, small data can be turned on its head within a matter of trades. Slow and steady.
So happy with the month. Just a solid one, hopefully rest of year can just be the same and avoid a calamity that december could bring to some traders. Its honestly the biggest test. Make it out of that with bank and you could be onto something in football.
Well done if you got this far have a good month guys and hope some got on these
Great update

Fantastic to see all the monthly reviews coming in from people. Its honestly ace to see people who asked me for help come good from it. Im not claiming to be the be all end all of trading (some think i do hopefully over time iv changed that impression) but long term there seems to always be common things that most traders need to do for success and im glad people are reaping the rewards of that advice, be it mine or others. Yes we can all have our own thought process but there are fundamentals we all need to adhere to and hopefully the help/guidance is paying off. Well done to those who shared their honest results. It takes balls its funny cause right now i share every single trade i do. Everyone can get my results, i cant explain how rewarding that is when you get to do winning months. Hope people appreciate that side of all this, transparency in the betting industry is not that common. BTC platform allows my blog to be apart of that, its something im proud of, i wish everything in this industry had to do the same (full transparency)

What an end to the month, this weekend is just proof in sticking to your niches, improving them over time, sticking to discipline and staying safe in the knowledge that solid strats will come good over time. Its been a stuttering month. Felt like we werent making much headway. We had been building gradual bank over the month, then eventually last weekend of the month it all comes together and we get rewarded for our plans and approach.
6/7 LTDs seeing as this is the main thing people follow glad these are presenting growth. Over time these will only get better as we cut leagues, but right now as long as it continues to grow cant complain.
Ill of course do my end of month review tomorrow when i get the chance. Ill be changing the sheets a bit tomorrow in terms of whats viewable, likely to re add points as many people have asked for them. Ill discuss this more in the update. All we need to know is been a solid month, one which tested at times but ultimately we came out good because of the disciplined approach and sticking to plans.
Hope some have got on the trades iv posted, lets end this year well
