The drift on Surf Dancer was mad. Bot took 5.5 but it went off at 11.1 then stormed home.

75 points so ticking along nicely. Probably be over 100 if it wasn’t for the break.

@gareth-thomas should say. there is nothing as beautiful as seeing the favourite fade away to nothing when you've layed them 😄 😄 😄

@john-folan Thank you. Appreciate it that. I spotted a link to your spreadsheet somewhere and then from there to the in running trading tool. So that gives me answers to a load of stuff!

Might actually just put it to one side for now. I'm new to this and still very much learning. Don't want to overstretch.

Todays. Yesterday was a bust so 1 point lost. Two potentials today subject to odds filters(One should definitely hit)
Odds filters are 3.5-9. Go as close to the off as you can. My bot is set for 2 seconds out. It was previously at 10 but rare a race goes off early or on time these days. Avoid Heavy ground as this just doesn't work on it. Check the going as close to the off as possible as they have a habit of changing it.

Well. I've just learned more about Dobbing and Trobbing. I've imported a rules file to Bet Angel. Got it to work - more or less. And won an imaginary £2 in Practice mode. Gone from zero to ... just above zero in less than an hour.

@John-Folan - are you available for questions about this or is it just something you post? Interested to learn more but recognise you may not be interested in answering!

Yep ask away. Been a bit manic lately so not been around as much as I would like. I'll answer as much as I can.

@martin-futter I believe @Gareth-Thomas might be referring to the actual process of the trade i.e. back to lay/lay to back etc.

    Am intrigued myself 👍 OTBC!

Hi fellas. If you look on my resources thread there’s a full explanation of a trob. It is a back to lay hoping for a 67% drop in price.

    Hi,
I know you say there's no such thing as a daft question .. but possibly here comes one ...

I'm still following the 'Rubbish Tipster' advice (seeing how they get on) but I thought - and I am clearly not the first to think this - how about backing the tips of the top napster's. Presumably people have looked at this previously and discounted it?

Since last week (and I'm only paper trading), just picking the top 3 winning naps, backing them to win and place has had a combined 40.9% strike rate and made 12pts (85-15 split for the 'to win').

I'll stick with tracking it but thought I'd ask whether anyone has previously tracked it for a decent period of time and found anything more useful than my pitifully small sample size.

my answer to any inquiry like this is simple, set up a sheet and test it 🙂

@john-folan Hi John. Is this something you're sharing for other people to use or just to show what you're doing? If it's the former, is there somewhere I can find an explanation about what it all means? Thanks

he trobs them (treble or bust) so basically you back them and trade to make 200% profit on stake (so say £10 stake you would make £20 profit, £30 returned hence the treble)
