Does anybody here trade politics? I've been looking at it on Betfair and thought about some opportunities

@keith-anderson haha! Would be typical for the world to end just before Liverpool clinch the title

Needs to be before they go unbeaten haha

The World Health Organisation says the world should prepare for a pandemic. Chinese Super League still hasn’t started yet and Italian Serie A matches were postponed yesterday. Hopefully it can be contained until Liverpool win the Premier League!

Still has a mortality rate of between 1 and 2% until you see the figures from Iran. 61 confirmed cases and 13 deaths - mortality rate of around 21%

    Staggering

There's a trading opportunity too. In the last one, it was obvious that Wilder was dead on his feet after just 3 rounds. I was able to Dutch 5,6,7 all at around 6.

I was too busy standing screaming at the telly to trade!!!!

Also never traded boxing...maybe a new thread on the build up to the biggy!!

I think a deal will be done......aj to fight fury with whyte to step aside to allow it then fighting the winner.

I do feel for Whyte love or hate he has been held back as mandatory for way too long...

defo agree with this. Cant see Dylan getting close to him Tyson us just to big for him and wont be fazed by his punches especially if he can handle Wilders bombs.

well I loved the fight but I totally got that wrong with my prediction of a Wilder knockout. Totally didn't see that coming from Fury so a big enjpoyable surprise their even more than how AJ adapted to Ruiz in the second fight which I did see coming as I thought that was the only way/best way he could win the rematch.

This morning Furys dad publically announced he wanted Tyson to retire now.
    Thoughts guys?
Personally I don't think is the right time to retire as the question mark on who is the best between him and AJ will always be debated.

Only one way to solve this and finish the job off is for the fight to take place. But he does risk his reputation of being the best on heavyweight of his generation.

If he thinks he cant beat AJ then I guess yes he could retire at the top and let the people debate but in the back of mind I am sure this question will always arise.

Would love AJ and Fury to fight. Fury would destroy him, but I do think there’s more to come from AJ.

Tyson won’t retire yet. I don’t think he has any plan in place to fill the void that boxing would leave. At this moment in time, retirement would be a bad idea for Tyson

@gary-brown never traded boxing before but after first few rounds I dutched 5/6/7 for knockout. Worked well, I could see Fury had him, just a matter of time. Wilder held on well though considering how dominant Fury was.
He's very underrated is Fury. One hell of a boxer. His appearance as a fat bloke makes punters bet for the other guy. If he faces Joshua one day I'd definitely back Tyson on points

Been doing a few basic calculations on low odds lays.

Laying at 1.05 and cashing out at 1.2 you would only need to get a 1 in 5 strike rate to be profitable.
Thinking about how often this happens in cricket and tennis it's a strategy I'm keen to have a little dabble with low stakes.
Bearing in mind that in some cases you can still cash out without losing your whole stake this strike rate would improve, and in some cases the odds come higher than 1.2.
Am I just stating the obvious here?
