@dave-jessop cheers bud! Going to get these setup and tested.
Sometimes simple is best -
@dave-jessop good work Dave! I really like the idea of this (along with the tennis one too). Automate it and let the bots earn some money. Do you have a starting price limit on the favourites for these?
-
@dave-jessop nightmare time slot this for me but I've set bots showing a profit over the duration but not a lot of matched plays but that's ok seen as not monitoring
first inns lay any team @1.4 and @1.2 for offsets of 40 and 20 ticks green out end of inns
second inns lay bowling team @1.2 in the power play green out after 5-6 overs

How good IPL . Looking to back RCB when they bat green out after 5 overs
-
Anyone watching this carnage. Warner utterly destroying RR.....
Took the Sunrisers at end of first innings at 2.7 now trading at 1.4!!!!
-
@neel-shah no books that I know of, but for cricket stats and details of players' performances Cricinfo and Cricbuzz websites are great. For Indian cricket I subscribe to the UK Hotstar streaming service; their previews throw up some very interesting and useful facts for cricket traders

Well, RCB didn't quite manage it, but there were tonnes of opportunities to get out with good profits at short prices. And Kohli's boys are the perennial under-achievers of the IPL. The ump needs a slap though - Malinga bowled a no ball in the final ball of the match and he missed it! Virat not a happy man
-
First ball last over price on RCB dropped from 3.7 to 1.5!! Triggered my cash out.
Mad this game.

I never ever thought I would watch cricket...but here I am...watching an IPL match and enjoying it!
Also done my first winning trade (Laying RC Bangalore). Traded out for 20% profit. £47 million match on Betfair - holy f**k! Dwarfs football
and another by laying Mumbai Indians! Sorry, just got a little excited! F**k football, Love cricket!
Dont get too carried away....yes there is massive liquidity but the T20 game fluctuates all over the place.
AB to take Bangalore home from here!

@Richard-Futter great stats there! I've just started dabbling in cricket trading, I didn't realise how phenomenal the liquidity is in the IPL till now. I'm a newbie to cricket trading, any sites, simple strategies or books you recommend?
-
Just a quick line ahead of today's RCB-Mumbai match in Bengaluru. Teams batting first here have won 10 times; teams batting second have won 64 times! Well worth looking for a move in favour of the team batting second after the toss at 2pm - or an outright back if you fancy it. Before the toss, the teams are both roughly even.

Stumbled across this document online 0_1553606884209_SSRN-id2465536.pdf
It seems to say that backing the batting team in the first innings after the loss of a wicket resulted in a 20% profit and that backing the fielding team after the loss of a wicket in the second innings resulted in a 9% profit. I'm not sure I quite follow the reasoning behind this and where is the exit point or is this just a straight bet?
-
@martin-futter you would think any score over 260 would be hard to chase on this wicket
