@Richard-Latimer I find that it depends on where the majority of what your profit is coming from and what the average odds are of your winners and losers.

Most of the time most of your losers will come in the lower odds and when that happens laying is definitely the more profitable staking plan.

However if your strategy gets most of its success from the shorter odds selections, then in those cases backing may prove to be better option. As always to quote Martin and Ryan, easier enough to test both options side by side 😜

@Nikki-HALSALL I'd say everyone should be laying in this to level the playing field but that's just my opinion.

A good laying strategy will outstrip a good backing strategy with the same s/r and odds if done to £10 stakes every single time.

Been rocky of late, in recovery, very interested in looking at Laying rather than backing - data collection begins......

    In the meantime today's back O 1.5

@Alastair-Todd I said the same about the laying. It's theoretical money anyway for this so if you wanted to convert your back odds to lay odds and change you score so to speak based on £10 lay stakes I wouldn't have a problem.

If any of us are going to win I think we want to win fairly. What say you @Martin?

Martin is there an updated table or are we still on the 9th Feb version? I think Richard and Andy are running away with it but it would be fun to see where we stragglers are in their wake! 😊

Can all change very quickly. Andy was on £190 until recently.

@Alastair-Todd May as well do after today I suppose as will be end of the week.

Mine is doing ok but has had some bumps recently so def not in front anymore. Think Richard is runaway leader now.

However from what I have seen, if you had been laying your selections to £10 stakes rather than backing, you would probably be at the top. Seem to have a pretty consistent strategy there

Quite tricky to narrow down the 10 selections to 5 today but this is what I've come up with:

    38db854c-3024-401b-bd06-8a97fc3d0ae3-image.png

    CZE, BEL Min 3.15 - Max 11.0
    GER Min 3.15 - Max 8.4
    NET Min 3.15 - Max 7.0
    MEX Min 4.0 - Max 11.0

For any that don't qualify I will add another selection.

Had a quick look and it doesn't appear G.A. Eagles is going to qualify based on price (should be max 7.4 but right now it's 8.0 anyway). Swapping it out for this:

    fc1155a3-3721-43db-b991-32b8fcbe8a5b-image.png

    Min Price 3.15 - Max Price 7.4

    5/5 +£49.00
    Running Total +£189.50
