Hi there.
Is the beaten fav strategy supposed to be PLACE market, cause every bet within BFBM was done as a place bet??

@Phillip-Chapman mine had been running for a few months now but noticed yesterday that no bets were placed. Checked again today and no tips imported. I have tried to manually add them from csv file and it failed again. Wonder if something has changed. I will keep looking and let you know if I find anything

How much variance do people tend to tolerate / expect from BFBot vs the software. I just checked my LTBF bot and compared the last c.100 selections to see how they compared.

Anybody able to help, I'm trying to set up a bot to place a pre-off back bet on a horse and then trade out in running when the price has moved 25% in either direction, just cant get it to trade out properly?

@Joseph-Henderson no end time, I just let it run on mine. Haven't dived enough into the stats to see if it's caused a major issue but am in profit with my strat.

Hi everyone,
I am struggling to connect BTC to BFBM, I have search the forums and cannot find the solution so I was hoping someone could help. I am using the link URL but BFBM just keeps saying "number of tips imported 0" despite there being selections on the BTC screen and if you download the CSV.
Can anyone assist?

@Daniel-Mills Do you not have an end time on your timeframe? Just anytime after 65 mins if the odds hit and a goal hasn’t been scored?
I have it setup to just place a back bet if the time frame is between 69-74 mins currently.

@Joseph-Henderson How have you got 'football - match minute' and / or 'football - match status' set up in your market conditions for the strat?
I've got one that fires after 65 mins but doesn't trigger until it hits the right odds range, so usually quite a few mins after the 65 mark. Could it be missing down to not reaching your right odds range / liquidity in the market?

Hi All. I am trialling a late goal bot, backing a goal after 69 mins. I am finding that on the whole it is firing, however it does miss games where I think there are goals/red cards around 69 mins and therefore I assume the market is probably suspended. I have widened the time to bet to be between 69-74 mins. Just wondered if there is anything else I could tweak? Is there an option to configure how many times the bot tries and places the bet per minute for example? Thanks

@Andrew-Gray Individual trades tab which is inbetween group breakdown and upcoming qualifiers. You might need to tell it what data you want displayed there under Tailor Your Results when you put in staking odds etc

@Adam Thanks Adam that's great and I have manually verified a few of the days/strats so far and they all seem to roughly match up with the results.
A couple more questions:

Is there any way to see actual individual bets/results in the backtester software so I can literally verify each bet? (I can only see month overview on there)

On a different subject. I have the URL being fed into BFBotManager which is a great feature!!! However Has anyone managed to get this updating automatically so you literally don't have to do anything and it just runs on autopilot? I have tried adding it to this section (Manage Tips -> Tips Autoloading):
But whatever settings I put into that (different times, and also ticking the "Use load at set time" box) it does not seem to ever auto load the selections.
However if I manually click the "Reload" button on that row, it imports everything successfully, suggesting I am doing the right thing.
Any help on that from anyone be really appreciated as a totally hands off system is the dream!

I'm sure many of you know how to auto load your selections from Google Sheets. For anyone who doesn't, I've pulled together a little guide which should help.
Personally I've always just entered them from the tree navigation, but I am looking to move over to a VPS, so want a way that I can upload selections without quickly, so not wanting to go into the server to access BFBM. Currently, I make my selections on a laptop and have BFBM running on a different PC (actually on a virtual PC on my desktop so I have two versions of BFBM running on the same PC one for horses and one for football).

Any comments/suggestions for improvement based on what others do would be greatly received.

@Andrew-Gray The results are normally added by around 10am the following day.
If you're using the specific date filter, make sure you're adding a day on, like so:

Hi all.
New here to apologies if this is a dumb question!
I am trying to verify that the results from my bot match up with what the backtesting software says should have happened.
Do we know how often the back testing data is updated?
I have put a filter for yesterdays date onto one of the pre made strats (Lay The Beaten Favourite - At Odds 3-15) and it's coming up with no selections, but the bot placed 7 bets.

@Ryan-Mirbagheri I have created the attached Lay the Underdog bot, not 100% sure it matches your criteria, but I tested it yesterday and it fired on a couple of matches, so works.
Make sure you have all the Football Match Odds markets loaded.
It will Lay the Away Team if they are winning by a single goal and they are still not the favourite to win.
Only places the bet between 0 and 60 match minutes, Home team must have no red cards.It is also set to green up if the profit reaches 20% of the max, but you could easily remove this and let it run.

Because you are betting in play, some of your Market Conditions won't work:
Runner by Position favourite - the way you have this set, the away team needs to be favourite or second favourite, if the away team is the underdog and they score first, the draw might become favourite and the home team second favourite in which case no bet will be placed.
Skip Market if NO clear favourite - If the underdog scores first, then its likely the pre-match clear favourite will not be clear enough when they are losing, therefore no bet will be placed.You also haven't told the bot which selection to put your bet on in the Selection Conditions, I assume (might be wrong) that you only want. to lay the underdog if they are the away team, therefore you need to tell it that you only want to lay the runner with runner position 2.
I think that in order to bet in-play, you need to remove the Skip Market Condition and amend the runner by Position Favourite to be "Runner by Position 2 is 3rd Favourite"

Hey, I have been trying to make a Lay the Underdog Bot. I want it to lay the underdog if they go 1 0 up. This should only apply to matches with heavy favourites and matches with no red cards. it also should only work when the underdog scores in the first 60 minutes. I have ran it all of today and it hasn't bet on any matches, despite the fact I have seen underdogs go up as I have a notification system with traderedge for this same strategy, but done manually.

Hi guys, i have an workin strategy, but i am struggelin with the set up in the BF Bot Manager. I want to set up the filter in the market selection:
- match Odds 1,3 -1,5
- underdog leads 1:0
- match minute 31 - 51
What i want to do:
- Waiting for goal of the underdog in the first 30 min, if that happens ...
- Splitstaking over 2,5 goals (1% of bank) after 31 min and if no goal happens till the 51 min another splitstake (1% of bank)
- When the 2nd goal scored in cash out, if not till 70 min... cashout for loss.
My Problem:
- how can i set up the bot that he recognize that the "underdog" scored first?
- How can i set up the Splitstakes and also if happens the cashout of take a profit or take a loss?

How about an idiots guide from the start of the process?
I know real Janet and John stuff, but I have tried everything and my BOT has done 3 bots in 7 weeks!!! 3 Categories it has not even had a bet placed.
Scratching my head and getting a bit pissed of with it, so just left it alone!
