@Nathan-Bennett Thank you, just removed most of my liability.
-
@Nathan-Bennett easy money on the draw lay!
-
Wow, Sunday is looking like a cracking day !.....
Draw now at 4.4 - have entered at that as my first tranche.
-
@stuart-wallace-0 BOOM ! i held on for the market to mini steam in a lil via small partnership #bonus
-
@Nathan-Bennett Yep, i got in just in time at 3.45 this morning.
-
BANG AFGHAN
Here we go draw dips below 3 and two poles
May never see it that low again -
BANG AFGHAN
Couple early poles
Draw market a lot could hinge on afghan avoiding follow on
I'm not expecting much rain (hunch from sites browsed - no solid intel)I'm hoping AFGHAN 20-0 type start , 2nd and fourth INNS markets tend to move faster . then look to target and jump on draw lay wagon
like others have mentioned
any team holding onto a draw be tough in this heat -
@stuart-wallace-0 Slowest first-class century ever! Some run chase though in fairness
-
@David-Milligan Basically because he fits the Bazball mould of how ENG want to play.
ENG believe a quickfire 40 has a bigger value in their new model than someone who dawdles to 50 (check out Sibleys 100 today off about a million balls). He may well come under pressure should he continue with low scores in first 2 tests though.
-
@stuart-wallace-0 how on earth does Crawley still get a game
-
England XI: 1 Zak Crawley, 2 Ben Duckett, 3 Ollie Pope, 4 Joe Root, 5 Harry Brook, 6 Ben Stokes (capt), 7 Jonny Bairstow (wk), 8 Moeen Ali, 9 Stuart Broad, 10 Ollie Robinson, 11 James Anderson.

@Richard-Futter What rain radar do you use?
-
According to the BBC forecast, it looks as though there'll be some rain around at Edgbaston on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the draw price shorten over the next day or so if it stays that way until the toss - by which time it's a good idea to get out whether red or green because it's quite possible things will happen quickly the way Stokes & Co play their cricket these days.
The rain radar subscription should be well worthwhile if the inclement weather does arrive on Sunday, with some good, predictable moves likely under the showers. Can't wait for the excitement - and the profits - to rocket skywards!
-
@Richard-Futter This. Cant see AFG batters playing out for 3 days.
BTW Shanto is going to be a very good player.
-
@Nathan-Bennett I think 4.6/4.7 is bottom out price , unless weather changes significantly.
i'm not entering for time being, unless price starts to drift, but will be looking to Lay intially, hopefully to reduce my liab on day 2 early, then look to back at back end of day 2 to ride the weather for day 3 - this will be crucial in timing, hopefully to then pick up the lay again begin day 4
Weather looks good for all 5 days except Sunday, so, if they were to lose all of Sunday, they will still be able to catch up an hour on both Monday and Tuesday, so a total of maybe net 2 sessions lost overall (isnt there a rule that day 5 must contain 90 overs?) Considering most ENG games nowadays are completed in 4 days or less, i still feel the weather may not play a significant part in the result.
All last 7 games at EDG has seen a result, with all finishing before lunch on day 5. -
AFGHAN BANG
BANG lay 1.53would like 2's to take stake out
-
