@caroline ok thanks, working on that now. What should i do with the data thingy? tks!
-
@lee-brown
Yes you can open as many as you like, but you will need to faff about with the data thingy the first time. -
@caroline ah man.... lol. Same subscription key for fairbot though ? fingers crossed yes....?
-
@dan-mackinnon thanks Dan.... see how i go!!

@lee-brown
If you want to run more than one strategy you need to open up another version of fairbot
I have about 10 open at the moment -
@lee-brown you'll have to select them. If there's more than 1 horse there are 2 things you'll need to check:
1 - Strategy Rules - When you select your strategy it might say "Beaten Fav #1" then a box below "Beaten Fav #2", etc. That's the same strategy but cloned so you can select more than 1 horse per race.
2 - Conditions - This is the criteria to allow the bot to fire. If it says unknown you'll have to put whatever horse into that condition for each one. There's usually 3 for each.
I would post screenshots but my laptop is being rubbish and I'm having to do everything on my phone. Let me know if you need more help though

@caroline thanks for the quick reply. Sorted on that. Trying to fix next road block with additonal strat on same market. Is that possible? If not, how are you guys getting around this ?
-
@lee-brown
If you click on unknown, it comes up with a list of horses. click on harry. Do the same for the odds
Then go to selection 2 and do the same for dragon -
@lee-brown think i have it now, found a drop down but this now does not show in watch list as maybe not poss to have 2 strats on one market? i already have 'get prepared' selected for 'back fav at the off' at 2.5-6 odds.
-
@dan-mackinnon or anyone else.... 'lay the beaten fav 3-15 odds' Southwell 1315 today, 2 horses listed, Harry Du Berlais and Dragon Fruit. How do i select those horses under the automation? It comes up as 'unknown' ? Or does the file look after it ?
-
@andy-harris i just have them in the watchlist but both the dutch games did work this evening for me
-
@steven-fletcher none of them from the daily email fired. I know some didn’t meet the criteria but Helmond v Ajax and Eindhoven v Heracles should have. The Late Goal in the Lorient v Rennes didn’t fire either. Do you have the games in your ‘my markets’ tab on the left or just in your watch list? I’m wondering if that’s where I’m going wrong as I add all the markets I’m trading into my watch list at the start of the day.
-
@andy-harris i had 2 split stakes tonight which both worked without issue, which were the ones that didnt fire?
-
Hi
I'm having a real issue with Fairbot sometimes not firing on some of the football goal strategies where it needs to have in play scores eg. second half goal and Ryan's Split Stake. Is anyone else having the same issue?It just says there is an error due to the live score being unavailable. It is fine if I have the market open but when I automate and go to work, I obviously can't switch between markets or if the games are happening at the same time. I have contacted their support and they just said that not all the markets have in-play data but one last week was Man City v Wolves in the PL and it definately did! The only possible solution I can think of is having multiple versions of FB open but tonight that would have meant me having 9 different versions open which seems excessive. Can anyone help???

@fraser-cord thanks for that. I am going to run in simulation mode for a couple of days, so that makes it clear.
running it in simulation mode is probably the best idea.
Think the initial reason for the three picks was in theory you could have more than one horse that meets the criteria depending on when you get your qualifiers, this would give you the option to run it where more than one horse meets criteria
if you do consider this it would be worth altering the race strategy as well

Hi everyone,
I'm very new to this and have started the free trial on Fairbot. I have imported the Back the C&D winner strategy bot, that bit was easy and I understand how to assign it to a market. However I am confused as to why there are 3 identical selections where only 1 should be backed. Do I select the same horse in each one, or just once?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Im not sure of the reasons why Richard but it should look like this if its working properly. All the unknowns you need to change to the horse you want to back. If backing more than 1 runner then do the same with selection 2/3 as well. Just click on unknown and the runner will appear for that race

@Dan-MacKinnon @Stephen-Beale cheers guys! If only I had scrolled down a little haha
Ideally I would like to incorporate both bets in to 1 strategy, my only thought is if there is no goal between 70th and 80th minute which most of the time there won't be.. would I just put a rule for number of bets less than or equal to 1 on the 80th minute bet?
@Dan-MacKinnon there is a third way and it is possible to place more than one rule on each market. When setting up the rule under action parameters you can select default or other. Default uses the current market while other allows you to select other markets to enter......in this screen its cricket markets.....doing this means you could have multiple rules to enter the match odds for example but you'd set them up on total runs or number of wickets or whatever
@Connor-Garland which of the three options is best probably depends on the rule and how you want it to work. The more specific the easier it is sometimes to get the rule set up
@Ryan might be an idea to consider an FAQ doc as well to compliment the user guide. Some things which come have been answered before but the thread is growing so big it can be hard going wading through it all to find if the answers are already here
