I can no longer keep putting money down on this filter, off the top of my head its 3 months hovering around a point and break even now. I have something else that is destroying that filter in terms of results at the moment so im moving onto that for a while.
Sticking to this most of the year has worked really well but 3 months on the bounce without profit is too much for me when i know i can do better.

How long have you been tracking the other thing?

@martin-walker Yes i wouldnt be persisting with 5%/5points per trade even in good times. Its kind of the max id ever encourage. The amount youll make from these if you have another similar year will be more than enough to compound.

Great news on the job front mate. This will make this compounding skyrocket now with zero temptation to withdraw. I still think people shouldnt withdraw until their bank hits the first premium charge, people get caught in that hole too quick and dont realise how hard it hits smaller banks, especially trying to make good income from trading.

Hope 2022 will be a good one for your mate, new job, solid trading, rising bank πŸ‘ πŸ€‘

Toying with cutting stakes in half and protecting the bank ive built this year until things improve.

Recently took a new job on more money meaning im in no rush to use any money from this and it can now be a longer term investment.
Hopefully just let it compound and sit there all year.
Even with the last couple of months being rough id love another year just like this, will be looking at a fairly big bank if so.

@darri points are based around 1%. I use that on here so everyone can see it but personally i use 5% although its not always been 5% all year for me. I started lower

Your early convos were honestly a huge reason to me getting to this point. Cant thank you enough

@martin-walker if you go through a full year and amass the consistency in profits like you have, then you have a great base to add a new strat to the portfolio. You have done it in exactly the way i encourage, master one thing at a time. If you now build a 2nd strat in the same fashion as this shg youll be doing just fine πŸ‘ interesting reading our old convos to now, honestly its fantastic to read mate. In terms of the points made, you say you made 70 points, is that with the 5% staking? Or are the points based around a 1% stake?

@darri good to talk it out at the end of each month and reassure myself.
Im going to start working on a second strategy just havnt decided what i want to try. The main reason is i just fancy having a crack at something else to see if im any good at this or it was just a fluke lol

@martin-walker just wanted to reassure you that what you are doing is working and no need to question it yet. 70 points since feb from just 1 strategy is fantastic keep it up πŸ‘ the fact this is a high strike rate intensive strat with low returns, then yes a few losses combined with less trades due to internationals will affect you. Thats why it not really about isolated individual months. If we then start to tweak it can cause issues when it rebounds. Int break, weather, new crowd data, loads of variables that cant just be earned from data in 2 months. Your overall is still ticking along and as i say if your worst month is half a point down but the other 10 months equal 70 points, im laughing all the way to the bank with that.

@Matt-Wood @Martin-Walker what sort of strike rate you getting?

Raw filter data is 85.76% for me. This is down from high 86% a few months back.

If I remove all leagues with less than 80% success the SR is 90.51%

The one I’m tracking is currently at 80% without any tweaks yet.

    @eamonn-hogan 91% dropped to 90%
If you look month by month though the last 2 have been in the high 70s

That’s using just those 3 half time score lines?

@darri potentially the international breaks have affected it. This month especially my trades are well down in number.
I wont be changing anything really and will keep on trading this strategy just sharing how its all going really
