You have to love the 'tipsters' in the media who betting companies employ. Just had one on Talksport from Ladbrokes and I quote:
'If you think Tottenham will win they are a great price at Evens. If you think Arsenal will win they are a great price at 5/2.'
Guess he is laying the draw big then lol or as expected doesn't have a scooby about betting and what is a 'great price'. Really shows just how much these guys know and the scary thing is they are paid to say this stuff!

@martin-futter I think the intention behind is superb! I just think it will have little impact. You need quotas to make any real difference, in my opinion. It has worked well in the USA, but nearly 75% of American Footballers are black. Less than one third of footballers in England are black.
It surely reflects bad on society that we need quotas or we have to have a BEM candidates? Shouldn't it just be the person for the job?
best person for the job?

@keith-anderson think it is a good step for diversity in the FA and high level sporting jobs, has worked very well in the US. It can be box ticking at times if someone already has the job in the bank and they interview a minority for the sake of it but at least it sends out the right message.

@martin-futter why though? I say this as someone who is classed as a minority in Northern Ireland.
If you want BEM’s in management roles then you not quotas. An interview doesn’t guarantee a job.
I mean you need quotas!

Anyone else think the ‘Rooney Rule’ the FA are going to adopt is silly?
-
@keith-anderson that’s a good shout that one - don’t think they stand a chance, all fall out!

That was some draw for England in the World Cup. Could've been a lot worse.

Great to see Sam Allardyce back in management with one of the top jobs in English football. Was gutted when England sacked him and feel he deserves a chance at a higher level, always think the criticism of him is ridiculous and the defensive football style a bit of a myth.
