@ben-watts no mate, the data it uses to generate selections is not currently in the software. It’s taken from the ratings page instead. I’ll post them here or alternatively you can grab them from the ratings too.
thanks mate thought was the case,, cheers for confirming

Hi mate is there a way to apply a filter in the software to generate these selections?

@chris-watts Ok, nice one. Ill get it done today, ive got about 94 results on mine. Can i email it you? Ive just copied the info to a new spreadsheet so its slightly different to yours but kept all the ratings data. Ive stripped out most illiquid leagues but you may decide to do more
-
@lee-woodman I used SofaScore (the website not the app). You can use it to choose leagues by country and then pick the corresponding "rounds" that match up to the dates you need. They also give B365 odds for the match too which is useful.

@chris-watts Yes, there was a couple of games mid October which affected 2 weekends i think, plus the obvious effect after an international break
Im getting on ok, not been as rapid with it this week but i should get through it shortly. What site do you find is best to use?
-
@lee-woodman Thanks Lee, I discounted that game as it had already finished by the time I ran the ratings in the morning so it wasnt a trade I could have taken. I'm only going to record trades that I post on here otherwise the record keeping is going to get messy and its already a handful as it is!
I completed the October 2018 back test yesterday, it only generated a small number of trades and returned a small loss, I think there was an international break for the first two weeks so all in all only about 60 games for the month. When compared to the 57 games in 12 days of this month it looks a bit of an anomaly. Ill share the full data when we have Nov and Dec to add to it and can look at it as a full quarter.
How are you getting on with the back testing? need anything from me?
-
DC United vs Montreal was a selection overnight. Unfortunately it finished 0-0!
-
Cheers pal, will be good to see this long term. Good work
-
@craig-brown yes that’s it.
-
@chris-watts sorry Chris just to confirm, progressive staking is 3% of your bank? So you are changing your stake each lay?
-
Todays selections:
Norway Eliteserien Brann v Kristiansund

Sheet updated with yesterdays results:
57 selections
47 winners (set and forget)
Strike rate 82.46% (set and forget)
54 winners (traded)
Strike rate 95% (traded)
18.8 points profit to level stakes
12% yield
64% return on capitalInterestingly progressive staking has just overtaken level stakes in the amount of profit generated. Looking forward to seeing how that develops.
Should remember that this is only 12 days of results!
-
3/4 will definitely add to your profits so far
-
3/4 set and forget today. 4/4 for the traders. Will update the sheet tomorrow.
-
@chris-watts ye I see. Set and forget would be lovely if it does keep showing profit.
-
@gary-brown No worries, just be sure to follow it sensibly and keep liabilities in check.
