Does anyone actively do any greyhound trading in here? I know it’s one of the harder markets to crack.

The dogs was my first introduction to betting when I was a teenager many moons ago and it’s sometgung I would like to carry on with now I am much older and wiser these days.

    Any feedback would be great

Morning guys, quick question re greyhound tracks. Does anyone have or know a website I can find out what the distances are that the split times are taken from ? Just for the standard distances.

I did come across a site a few years ago that had this info on but for the life of me I can't find it now.

@john-folan ok thanks mate. I have looked at GT in the past but never used it. I get an email every so often about used licences.

They usually have an offer on. I used to use BetAngel as that could both automate and live trade but their automation rules are a royal pain. Now I use Geeks for scalping and BfBot for automation.

@john-folan do you use BFBot Manager for scalping?

No geeks toy. Bfbot is useless for scalping. Geeks toy is lovely and simple to use for scalping

@john-folan have you done much on the dogs recently?

Scalping as it’s easy and I’m developing a lay strategy but that’s it really

The dogs are on gear! Dog racing. More bent than Irish Horse Racing and that’s saying something

Just to clarify...odds on in the place market.......

fave on the win market the same dog in the win market is usually in and around 3.0

Do you select certain grade races or just look for odds in any race?

not sure how successful trading could be on dogs....all pre off and only open a few mins....im looking at laying the place of an odds on fave then backing it. only way to lose is if it comes second...just trialling 2 pound stakes at mo...bit of fun bets

Interesting way of trading these. I’m just stated messing around with open racing (OR) to see if there is anything that can be had. 40%+ win rate on favourites in open racing but the odds are always a bit too low.
