Question, what’s a good strike rate for LCS at HT?
And would you avoid teams whose odds are high? (Eg 6.0 or higher to lay?)

@Debbie-Cooper Hi, from my previous experience and what I've seen on here so far you will struggle to go wrong following BTC's training.
I've been watching Martin Futters training video's and they just make sense, I particularly like the way Martin teaches about the power of multiplication re staking plan i.e. 2/5% of your bank. Increasing your stake size as your bank grows, this really will build your bank the quickest way.

Correct Score 3-1, 2-2 & 1-3My FHG has struggled of late so am paper trading until I get my filter where I want it. I am impressed with Ryans Lay the HT 0-0, I'm just starting to paper trade that filter as of this weekend (a really simple filter, although so is mine)

My Correct Score works well but have slowed it down as I'm working from a new filter and want to see/check that it's working okay. These matches were already selected at my previous membership, but I know what I'm looking for... but will no doubt need to tweak my filter along the way.

@Martin-Futter Thank you Martin I thought that the profits would be very minimal. It was suggested to me by another trader a few years back and just happened to stumble over it again going through some notes, appreciate you looking at this.
@Alan-Steward Thank you Alan. I am returning to trading after a bit of a break. I have traditional scalped the UK horse markets. As I am an Australian and when at home find the time difference very tiring. I think it effects your ability to think clear and quick enough sometimes to scalp effectively.
I have spent quite a bit of money to train myself on soccer trading. I bought two training systems and find them quite good but also a bit complex. I can see that it should be simple. At the start of the month stumbled on BFC. Thank you for you encouragement and my intention is to find 2 or 3 strategies that I fully understand and restart becoming relient on a full time income from inplay trading.
Any suggestions happily accepted. -

I've been trading for a couple of years and what I've seen here so far has blown me away... Second to none.
I'm even changing my style slightly to fall in line with the BTC ethos

@Martin-Futter There's a game in your filter tonight (Spanish Segunda) Fuenlabrada, which isn't within your daily email etc.
Is there a reason for this?
I note the stats are only over 8 games is that not enough... Is that why it didn't make the final selection?

@debbie-cooper essentially you are taking insurance on any scorelines where the team you lay wins but does not score three goals.
I would imagine you would not make much profit if your trade won unless the team you layed was favourite. So you would need an exceptionally high strike rate.
The best way to test if you are not sure how to paper trade it is to use very small stakes, maybe even with an exchange like Smarkets who allow you to trade pennies rather than the £2 Betfair minimum. Give it 3-6 months and see if it made you any money!

I know this will be a silly question when you all look very experienced. Can you please let me know what you think of this strategy. I have not tried it and really dont know how to test it out. Two very similar priced teams where you think not many goals will be scored. Lay one team and then back the same team 1-0, 2-0, 2-1. Has this any merit in the real world of trading? Thank you
