Quick question about filters
-
After looking at your filters for the day how do people decide what games to trade and what games not to. I still have a problem if over trading. Pick many winnings selections but want to cut out the losses. I follow most selections that people put in the forum which all have a very good strike rate. I can make money just by following them but really want to do my own thing. On a Saturday I have my eye on about 20 selections probably end up trading about 10 if they hit my inplay criteria. But feel this is still too many. Any help will be much appreciated

@ben-jolley are you sure that is too many trades? is this because you have tested it and do better with less trades? if so you could just set a simple limit of matches to trade per day. one thing with football is midweek can be drab so sometimes i like a few to trade on the weekend to make up for it!

Hi
Has anyone else used the filters for the draw market ? I have traded three matches in the last few days and all have ended up a draw. The filters I use are Draw 50% or greater overall in last 20matches, home team draw 50% or greater and the same for the away team. I don't trade matches that are under 3.25 back odds pre match. only problem so far for the matches is they only appear so far for the Egyptian league and Moroccan league where liquidity is low. A Moroccan match has come up tonight but odds of 2.72 seemed to low

@ben-jolley I look for shots one target, corners and also the match report - how are the passes connecting etc... (If I cant watch it) so is there a couple of players causing them issues etc...
Drip backing is something I am doing now - so split stake 5 ways then enter @ 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.6 / 1.8 / 2.0

Also another question. On your ltd/lcs criteria what are you looking for in terms of inplay stats? Iām looking for a couple of shots and corners before I get involved. And what prices are you looking for? I started waiting until 2.0 before I laying the draw but was missing a lot of opportunities. So went to about 2.9 max. I now hit more but the cash out is a lot less?

@ben-jolley yes that sounds perfect to me matey, keeping the most profitable filter will allow you to scale it up as well too.

Hello Ryan thanks for getting back to me. Yes Iām recording as much info as I can. Iām about a month in recording all this data on 3 filters. Gonna carry this on for another 2 months and see if there is a trend and adjust my filters accordingly. Maybe even getting rid of a filter and only keep the most profitable one going. Does this sound like a good plan?

Hi Ben,
Are you tracking other data around the selections, such as price etc... this can help because then when you have more data you can spot some more trends and get the selections down - but if the strike rate is high and the profit is growing monthly and you are sticking to the plan and trading selections that hit the criteria then its likely there will be more on a weekend
