Trading Q and A Megathread Ask Us Anything!

@kenneth-glossop ok so you want a fast feed, radio can be good for this if it is on test match special, analogue is good. the boundaries drive the price out or in depending on which team gets it.
so say it comes in as the team you are trading on is batting, it will usually spike back out a little before the next ball, so if you can get in quick green up before that you can make a profit.

Hi, Iโm getting more involved in cricket trading. Just wondering whatโs the best way to scalp a boundary in cricket? Thanks
-
@Ryan-Carruthers i thought so nice one cheers

@liam-willis 1.3 is the entry on this one, it would mean getting involved later in the game. You would need to research games where there is later goals - it would work still but the selections wouldn't be as many as other strategies.
-
-
@liam-willis hey buddy - can you link me to the strategy?
-
hi i have just read through the strategies on the main home page and they were a great read one question though? on the lay current score one it says to lay 1.3 or under in the correct score market, if ive read this right im assuming this will only hit that very late in the half or match. is this correct?

@richard-latimer I use Evernote!!
Cracking little tool, it can also be used by any device - so I have a notebook that's trading plans, then from there every new note is stored in there and is my trading plan for the day.
I can get it on mobile, laptop and iPad

@richard-latimer do you have set time periods you trade or are you waiting for notifications and trading then? I prefer to know when I am working that day and focus at those moments, if I am out then I would not do too much trading as would be worried about missing the entry and exit points in an unreliable environment.
I set everything up to go on my phone so the minute I get a notification I can get in at the push of a button. Without this I have next to no truly free time at moment and wouldn't be able to make a go of it.

Quick question to everyone, not just the admins. We all have a trading plan for the day. It's what's been drilled into us since day dot.....but how do you manage yours?
By this I mean if you're out and about on the go do you write it all down on a piece of paper, keep it on your phone etc??? Or do you just not place a single trade unless you're at home sitting at a desk in front of the computer/TV?
I don't have the luxury of a bot at the moment and so everything I do inplay is manually triggered by this notification or that. But too often I realise I've missed something and therefore left some green on the table. Today's example was Breidablik who I'd listed as an inply lay of the away and a HT LTD. Through one thing or another I was massively sidetracked all day and when the game started I forgot all about the lay away, only keeping track for a HT LTD.
It was a draw @ HT and I did lay this for a successful trade but it still eats me up that I keep letting things slip because you can gurantee as soon as I hit a roadblock I won't forget to do anything that damn day haha!!

@richard-latimer Ok thanks

Hi guys
What sites would you recommend to get some good downloadable stats on previous football seasons/teams/leagues results? I want to have a play around looking at leagues and goal times and any help you can give would be good.

@Martin-Futter @Ryan-Carruthers Sorry guys just another question please? So on betfair as I understand it I have to cash out twice in order to take a profit? But when I try to do it again, I get a message saying I can't because the odds have changed. Am I doing something wrong or do I just now have to leave it?
You just have to try again as it says until you're matched.
