XG stats in filters
-
Hi folks
Hopefully not a stupid question...
What are we actually looking at if we select as a filter Overall>Average>XG and set values for example between 2.5 and 4.5 (last 10 matches).
For Sunderland vs Man City today, that value is 4.02. Does that represent the average XG for both those teams in their last 10 matches?
When I looked at the H2H average XG for the two teams, the value returned was only 0.15. Does that mean? Really, no goals expected in their game? For that, I selected last 10 matches. Does that look at their last 10 H2Hs? Selecting last 5 returns 0.3. Still suggests in the H2H, there's very few goals expected, but that can't be right, can it???
Sorry for all the questions - I just want to make sure I know what I'm looking at to base decisions on!!

Thanks

@Martin, thanks Martin
I didn't trade it as I wanted to make sure what I was looking at, but the XG was up there with what the overall was, just no actual goals!!
I'd be just as interested in Adam confirming what the Overall XG actually means asw well, so thanks in advance!

@James-Menhenitt hope you took it's advice on the H2H!
I'll tag @Adam on this but it will be to do with the fact that they have not played any games against each other in the same league for donkeys years.
