Football Challenge Rules:

1. The bets are set and forget, so straight backs or lays.
2. You can submit up to 5 selections per day along with the odds of those selections
3. Selections must come from one strategy only, not multiple strategies.
4. You will need to update us on how many point’s profit you made.
5. All results should be recorded to £10 stakes, a £10 bet at 2.0 odds would be £10 profit if it won or a £10 loss if not.
6. Lay stakes are recorded to stake, so if you lay at 3.0 you are risking £20 to win £10.
7. Martin will record the standings in a weekly table.

More and more this weekend I'm seeing the importance of odds, not just stats. I guess it points to the oddsmakers and their algorithims not being anyone's fools. Yes, the stats point to goals from everywhere but in so many leagues I've tracked for the past year, you cut off the top/bottom and sometimes both of those odds brackets and you get a completely different picture.

I had Nantes at the beginning of the day too and chose to leave it after my research on the odds this morning.
