Betfair Exposure/Deposit Limits

Hi all, I was wondering if someone could help with this.
I have an exposure limit of £5,000 on betfair. As far as I understand that means that I can only bet a maximum of that amount at anyone time, is that right? My current exposure is £0 as I have no bets on.
Also, although my deposit limits have been set to £7,000 per week. I've noticed that I can only deposit £4,000 after depositing £1,000 over the last month (I thought it might reset from August to September but it hasn't). Has anyone else noticed this and is it linked with exposure? It seems like a count down, so once I've deposited that £4,000, then is that it?
Is there a way around this? Just ask nicely on the chat? If anyone has any knowledge on this I would be grateful for your input.

@Richard-Duff if that happens it's worth getting in touch with CS but I'd only do that as a last resort. Might be my paranoia but I never like alerting them to things, they sometimes seem to not know their arse from their elbow at the best of times!

@Martin Thank you. Yea that explains what exposure is quite well. I guess I'm not sure why when I deposit, it shows me my remaining budget available to deposit as being well below my set deposit limit. I'm hoping that this isn't counting down to zero indefinitely and I'm able to deposit more than this in the long term.
