England falling apart here.... could be in for an interesting final innings.

Just a quick pre-match trading tip for the T-10 tournament currently taking place in the UAE. Batting second has proved a massive advantage in this quickest of all the cricket formats and whoever wins the toss always puts in the opposition and the market moves hugely in their favour. I've just got in on Maratha Arabians at 1.98 and got out at 1.81 in about 30 seconds.
To be successful you need to be watching the market in the half hour before the match as the toss is not always at the same time and is not usually televised live. The move is very obvious indeed.
With three matches being played most days, there's plenty of profit to be had, but tread carefully with small stakes if you're not used to fast moving markets.
There are no guarantees of course, but I think it's a trend that is very likely to continue, although the moves might be slightly less marked as time wears on and traders become wise to the exaggerated effect of the coin spin.

@richard-futter yes, made some small green from the first session from a very similar trade Thanks.

close to same. 1.72-1.58 . Eng could end day 1.4 ish might go again few overs after lunch maybe

Got 1.85 on England after they won the toss - down to 1.55 now. Very happy with that. Anyone else trading?

The third and final Test between Sri Lanka and England starts tomorrow morning at 4.30 GMT in Colombo - and it's a really difficult one to analyse. Normally I would say England's odds of around evens look outstanding value, but this is a dead rubber, and history shows these matches often upset the formbook.
Weather forecasts in this part of the world are worth about as much as a chocolate teapot, although I won't be quick to rush into a lay of the draw at 5.3. The last five matches at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground have produced positive results, but before that it was the draw capital of world cricket.
Earlier this year, spinners took 32 of the 35 wickets to fall in Sri Lanka's emphatic victory over South Africa, so the absence of Curran and Anderson won't significantly weaken the bowling department.
Whoever wins the toss and bats will have a big advantage, so I will probably be looking to back them after the first handful of overs. But it certainly won't be a full-bank job!

@luke-ridger TEST CRICKET

What a result for NZ and the reason I love test cricket! So much can happen over the 5 days, yet it can all be distilled down to as tight a match as that.

@luke-ridger Wins!

What poor sod lost on the runs market in NZ test, 250 or more traded at 1.01

Pak test looks a non event unless these two can score a double century partnership, I think Pak chase 200 here but not sure NZ get a good enough score on the board.
The Kiwis are making a fight of it, but need a good few more yet. Could be interesting though; teams have been bowled out very cheaply in the fourth innings while chasing quite low totals sometimes in Abu Dhabi, and Pakistan are not always the greatest of chasers.

The worst Aus team in my lifetime.

Don't recommend this as a trade but have hammered the draw lay, premature reaction to some rain, also consider one session will determine this game, early start tomorrow and small chance of rain.
