Pakistan look a big price at 2.60 both teams have rested players so will be a interesting match
-
@clifford-mcdaid Thanks for this. I was doing this towards the end of the PSL and every time I watched the match and the market it did go above and below the starting price - after the toss. Unfortunately with the PSL just finished i'll have to check out the IPL starting this week and see if the same generally stands true.
-
@joel-corry I would say that most of the match's that I've watched in the PSL each team was priced roughly between 2.0 to 1.80 the toss will also adjust the price. Cricket has a lot of large swings in price movement usually by either a 4,6 or a wicket and the prices moves a lot if a wicket falls usually around 20 ticks.
My advice is to record the screen during a match its the only way to truly understand the market.

As far as anyone knows, has there been an evenly matched T20 match (both teams close to 2.0) where the market has followed a strictly downward or upward trend. In other words where the price has never gone both above and below the starting price?
If not, how do I get access to this information/data?
-
Thought I'd share this from my data base. If you traded the Pakistan Super League at the Dubai ground and backed the team batting 2nd you would have won 15 out of 18 trades. Sharjah, ground and backed the team batting 2nd you would have won 5 out of 7 trades. Karachi ground and backed the team batting 2nd you would have won 3 out of 6 trades.
Nice pattern of the team batting 2nd winning, most teams also when winning the toss opted to batted 2nd throughout the league pity next year as the league is supposedly moving back over to Pakistani.
Hopefully the IPL is like this.

New to BTC and looking to get involved quickly. Taking a look at the Magic Number strategy which I quite like. What are the downsides to utilising this strategy with higher stakes and a higher price, like 1.90 for both teams?
This price is very likely for both teams and can be matched quite early on. Smaller profits but less risk.

@dave-jessop providing weather is good , totally agree
-
@dave-jessop I was looking at the LTD it's the same ground that all the ODi's were played on which gave assistant to the bowlers, looks a smart trade
-
NZ v BANGA potentially some rain around night before and during early day 1 . could be a trade opportunity . Had a small play to aim for some green before a ball bowled .
-
Anyone get any reports on today's weather in Wellington, is rain forecast.
-
been one of the best this
-
Ooosh I'm cashing in my chips, market completely overestimated weather.
-
Looks like 2 days of sunshine ahead the draw is on the drift already from around 1.70 NZ test
-
I drifted in and out of sleep but will watch the highlights today. I love these Bangla players play one way ....
-
@luke-ridger agree with that taylor was showing plenty of intent before end of play no doubt rest of line up will too . can see NZ getting close to 1.5 some stage .
-
Every chance we get a result in this one, NZ will atleast try to score quickly. Can see small totals, and a small 4th innings chase.
-
@richard-futter yeah noticed aswell that was weird .. decided not to be greedy when greened out but such a good position laying the 1.20 with a stop loss would of been ultimate smart #learnings
-
Looks like play today and the weather is good for tomorrow hopefully push the draw out.
-
Will we get play today
