Never watched a game of cricket before and thought match-fixing might be involved here. until today!
Naib's decision to bowl himself those last two overs when Shinwari had literally just bowled an over for 2 runs and had 2 overs left. Then he "missed" a run out in the last over resulting in an overthrow. Oh and lets not forget Asghar Afghan's hilarious "drop" near the end. Mindblowing.

If aus were to reach 250 would the market put them favourites?

Afghanistan batting first at Headingley. It's the right thing to do but I just cannot see them posting enough runs to seriously inconvenience Pakistan.

Although it would be very interesting if they could post upwards of 250 and finally give their spinners something to bowl at on a pitch which should turn as the day wears on.

Looks an outside bet to me though.

The Australia-New Zealand match at Lord's later looks far more intriguing. Finch's men look about right at the current 1.54, but they are already through and the Kiwis' extra motivation could make it a more even contest than the odds suggest.

However, the New Zealand batting still has a brittle look about it if Williamson and Taylor fail to put big runs on the board, and, although it pains me to say so, I think Australia look the best equipped side to challenge favourites India in this World Cup.

How did England lose to this Sri Lanka side.....

Because the media hyped England so much 😄

Absolutely nothing to do with the media. Just completely brainless batting on the day, and our now all too familar inability to adapt to trickier batting conditions even if chasing a moderate, quite gettable total.

Hard to believe how sloppy Sri Lanka have been after all the hard work to get themselves back in the tournament. Going to have to cop a red on this one by the looks of it.

I've always been one to refire after a wicket and aim for 20ticks style on partnerships .., looking back massive downfall I think … advice yesterday of players to hit double figures before reload has settled with me hard I think
