Topping up at 2.26
-
Having a little back of England at 2.02. Plenty of movement in this pitch and I expect Anderson to make life very difficult indeed for the Indian batting.
-
@mike-martin - great stuff.. so good to have Test cricket back
-
@richard-futter In at 4.5 out at 9.6
-
@richard-futter got too greedy waiting for the price to drop further and missed the boat unfortunately!
-
Anyone get any good lays on the draw? The best I managed was 4.8 - but a pretty decent first day profit all the same. Took my profit at 7.4.
-
Thoughts very simple - fancy England to win strongly; but best bet is laying the draw (no change there then!). Draws usually only happen here these days when there's a lot of rain about, and that's not going to be a factor this time round. 4,6 the price at the moment, but hopefully if England bat well that will shorten pretty quickly and there will be some great value later. Shocked that Pujara has been left out.

@Richard-Futter BOOM test cricket and ODI its all happening . any thoughts to the test . cheers nath
-
amazing so fast can happen
-
Draw out to 12 - so good to have Test cricket back
-
@Richard-Futter this run rate seems very solid too .
-
@nathan-bennett ... draw drifting nicely for you here. Ball already turning on day one; no way this will finish as a stalemate.
-
bit of inexperience quickly learnt laying draw so early
-
Find it amazing that SA are playing with only one spinner in Colombo. Obviously hoping for reverse swing later in the innings, but that's going to take time and I reckon anything above 250 in the first innings will put SL solidly in the driving seat.
-
sweet cheers jumped in to soon laying draw ha but staying strong … SA only one spinner in line up ??? best batting conditions right now !! pitch forsure progressively gets worse
-
There will definitely be a result - and for me it's a surefire SL win. Colombo is a spinning track these days, and with SA batting last, I reckon anything around evens on the home side is good value. I'm kind of hoping Steyn, Rabada and co. might take an early wicket or two to give us even better value, but judging by the early exchanges it doesn't look like there's much movement for their seamers.

expecting a result sri lanka v south Africa . thoughts anyone else
