@luke-ridger great thanks for the reply Luke, good to know. I was staking around 5% of my bank laying the draw on average, but not consistently and changed too often, a lot of the time dependent on how I was feeling which I don’t like, I like to remove as much room as possible for emotion to take over. I am easily in profit over the summer though, so I think a more consistent approach would yield better returns.

@simon Typically i draw lay between 10% to 20% of my bank, it's high liability but percentages are in my favour, quicker trades i use around 1% - 3% so if i'm riding a position for a short term then my liability is less. Long term plays , i will go heavy with the end result in mind.

Great end to the summer of English test cricket. My first one trading cricket and think something finally clicked in those last 2 tests there with a mix of advice from the forum and a small bit of experience. One area I struggle most with is staking though, when I’m trading tennis or football I’m so formulaic with set entry and exit points and stakes. With test cricket it feels a bit more fluid and sometimes massive opportunities arise that deserve more than 1% or 2% of bank. And also find that if you set a stop loss you’d often end up cashing out for a loss only for a few wickets to fall 10 minutes later and you’ve lost a good position. Still feeling out what suits me, but any staking advice from more experienced guys would be appreciated. Thanks and roll on the autumn tests.

Laid the draw an hour or so ago at 2.3. holding for now. Just had the feeling as the commentators are now agreeing with that however unlikely this run chase is, India may as well lose the series 4-1 as 3-1 and are therefore just gonna go for it. With new ball on its way, either way I just don't see these two hanging on for the draw..
Out at 4.2 for now after that wicket. Jimmy holding it way outside off and struggling to get bat on ball at the moment
straight after the first wicket that was. prob should have held out a little longer in all honesty.

Don't think I've ever seen such a wildly fluctuating Test match market. All the value is in laying India though.
