BTC match odds not being recognised
-
Hi,
I have been importing my filters to BF bot manager successfully using (Provider / EventId / and SelectionId.
(mainly overs and unders)
I have just started a new strategy that is for the match odds market. The SelectionId that I have tried is
Home - 13057562 and away - 39089136. For some unknown reason the BF bot manage tips does not bring up the rest of the data for these selections. It does for the rest of my overs selections though.
I did put a post in the BF bot managers forum and had a few replies but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have any ideas on this as to why the match odds data isn't fully appearing.
The match odds is being autoloaded onto the grids view.
I have tried manually also inserting the MarketType of match odds, still nothing.
I have attached the data that does / doesn't import on manage tips frame. Please can someone shed a light.
Thanks in advance

@Robert-Caven said in BTC match odds not being recognised:
I got the selectionId by right clicking over the home odds button then selecting inspect. Then scrolling up until I see the word SelectionId where the number was. I now know for the match odds these numbers differ all the time unlike the overs / unders market where the numbers are the same.
That's weird. If I follow the same process, I get the same selectionId as using the graph method. The selectionIds for each team should stay the same I think; must admit I haven't tested it recently with football but in horse racing for example, I've never seen a selectionId change for a particular horse.
Glad you've found a less painful way of getting it working though!

Thanks guys for your help.

Now that I know where to get the home or away odds SelectionId numbers from it seems a very long winded way to do what I can do much quicker by changing my strategy to bet on my selections rather than the imported ones.
Just for peace of mind I managed to import my selections into bf bot tips as per my screenshot.
Thanks again, I do appreciate the help

@Robert-Caven The selection IDs are incorrect. Or at least the one I checked was: Qingdao West Coast v Hangzhou Greentown
Where are you getting them from? The matches in question don't have prices in the software yet, so the selection IDs aren't included in the exports. So you must be getting them somewhere else?
If you want to manually check the selection IDs for any team, go to the match odds market on Betfair and click the graph button:
The selection ID is the last long number in the URL (highlighted in this image):

Sorry, data was hidden on previous image

@Martin @Adam
Still having the match odds data problem.
Have done the same this morning therefore I have attached the imported file I sent to BF bot.
I've also copied the teams relevant to those selections and finally the actual data that the bf bot managed to recognise.
Sorry to be a pain but could someone please tell me where I ma going wrong.
thanksRob

You mention using selection IDs 13057562 and 39089136. What match was this for?
Are you supplying the market ID for the match odds markets? I see in your screenshots that the Market ID column is blank for the ones that failed to import.

@Robert-Caven I'll tag Adam so he sees this

@Martin
The matches I did this morning which had the same outcome as per my screenshot were:
ulsan Hyundi, 1130 kickoff, home win and vasco, 2300 kickoff, also home win.
I used my SelectionId for both matches and used another SelectionId the someone on facebook had used and got the same lack of data for both versions.
Not used to the forum yet but will try and give you an image off the tips that I imported this morning. Thanks
