Hi Martin
-
MINDSET:
a. Stop chasing loses, learn to expect them..... its not a bad thing!
b. Stop sulking, it doesnt get you anywhere!
c. Stick to your trading plan
d. Stick to your staking plan
e. Learn to walk away
f. You dont have to trade hundreds of trades to be successful -
Learn the 'Coin flip analogy'. This has been explained by Martin on numerous occasions however, it took me ages to actually grasp the full meaning. Once I got it, it changed how I looked at trading and my relationship with luck and chance.

There is life beyond trading, so don't get stuck behind a computer screen 24hrs a day. Enjoy the extra income trading gives you, treat yourself and others with your winnings. enjoy your life!
Sorry I know you said one point.

Sticking to one strategy! when I first started my trading journey I was working on numerous strats, I gave these up and just concentrated on my main one and it's paid off cos I'm 2 months in profit now.
-
Being selective about what I actually trade.
-
Being confident and patient enough to let opportunities come to me, without me chasing them.
-
My ability to track has improved and also understanding value on a deeper level. Which i am putting into practice now with a SHG paper trading strategy.
-
(a little) less worried about FOMO
-
More confident having specific figures to back things up and streamlined
-
Knowing how to identify and test a strategy
-
Patience! And to relate to it as a hobby and not a way to make quick money (I.e gambling).
-
Mindset and patience.
I am generally an impatient person, however, approaching 6 months into trading (as opposed to just betting) I appreciate that this isn't helpful, and have to rein it in, which I can do due to the change of mindset.
-
Time and patience.
Understanding that it takes time and patience to go through the process, checking the results of the strategy against actual results, then adjusting and improving a strategy takes time before moving on to the next stage of that strategy
In my case automation is the next step with BF bot manager also this takes time to understand how that works its a long process hopefully it will be worth it in the end. -
I am a lot more disciplined now with my trading (always room for improvement).
