@MICHAEL-ROBERTS said in Masterclass Training Lesson 1: Win Big on Betfair - Betfair Trading Explained:

    MINDSET:
    a. Stop chasing loses, learn to expect them..... its not a bad thing!
    b. Stop sulking, it doesnt get you anywhere!
    c. Stick to your trading plan
    d. Stick to your staking plan
    e. Learn to walk away
    f. You dont have to trade hundreds of trades to be successful

Patience and sticking to the plan, i'd say even higher-than-normal level of patience is required here. Best example - today's Liverpool game...they were all over "Foxes", yet only one goal, and pretty late-ish in the game.

Morning @Martin could you do some videos on different types of trading bets and how we could use these different types of trading bets on our strategies, your videos show us how to use your software to make the strategies but it would be good to know how to trade a specific strat, I've got so much data collected for various strategies but I don't know how to trade them, just a video of an explanation of how you could trade the strategies ideas from the videos that you make would help, I know it's probably a simple thing but it would be good to get an idea of how to trade them, hope this makes sense.

@Victor-Flores that's great to hear, when people start treating it like a job they take it more seriously!

@Martin Definitely making me more cautious and disciplined. I was particularly taken with the "Treating it like a job" comments, as I'd already very much adopted that attitude. Great video.

    Hi Martin

    1. MINDSET:
      a. Stop chasing loses, learn to expect them..... its not a bad thing!
      b. Stop sulking, it doesnt get you anywhere!
      c. Stick to your trading plan
      d. Stick to your staking plan
      e. Learn to walk away
      f. You dont have to trade hundreds of trades to be successful

    2. Learn the 'Coin flip analogy'. This has been explained by Martin on numerous occasions however, it took me ages to actually grasp the full meaning. Once I got it, it changed how I looked at trading and my relationship with luck and chance.

    3. There is life beyond trading, so don't get stuck behind a computer screen 24hrs a day. Enjoy the extra income trading gives you, treat yourself and others with your winnings. enjoy your life!

Sorry I know you said one point.

Sticking to one strategy! when I first started my trading journey I was working on numerous strats, I gave these up and just concentrated on my main one and it's paid off cos I'm 2 months in profit now.

@Martin To re-search each trade fully and stop scatter gunning. Training is key.

My ability to track has improved and also understanding value on a deeper level. Which i am putting into practice now with a SHG paper trading strategy.
