I don't know about you but Venice beach for me is so cool, I also love San Clemente, Santa Barbara.

@Shannon-Townsend just spend a couple of days at Universal (avoid Disney imo) then head down Florida to the keys, well worth it!

@Martin Down the coast from San Fran to LA via Yosemite national park... was epic, think Florida may be the next place but i want to go to the keys and kids want theme parks lol...

18 days since last update and not much changed... gained another pt from the 12 selections i have had in that time so still positive news... am heading away for most of August so by my next update the winter leagues will have started...

Hi Shannon, i have been a member of BTC for over 6 years and it took me over 4 years to take on the advice of testing strategies before blowing many banks and chasing losses.
Finally got my mentality right and eventually starting to reap the rewards.
I am sure you will be a profitable trader in the long run -

Happy with this slow and steady approach and following a few years of matched betting i have now deleted all bookmaker apps from my phone and have put the betfair app in with my banking apps to remind me i am doing this as a long term investment and not just for fun... mindset continues to improve.
Your bank will start to improve slowly keep at it. I started properly about 18months ago after paper trading various strategies for 4 months. I started off with £100 bank using 1% stakes it takes a while to build your bank. I increase/decrease my stakes at the beginning of each month based on the overall profit or loss. I now 18months on have a bank of £1534.00 at the start of July so my stakes are £15.34.
Still not where i want to be but certainly going in the right direction and not chasing loses etc. -

@Shannon-Townsend been 22 days since last update and now on 364 selections and a 20pt profit so lost a pt over the last 3 weeks but selections have been very few and far between.

@Shannon-Townsend another 17 days have passed and with them only 16 selections due to the time of year... another 2pts of profit thogh so slow and steady is continuing.

LTD update -
2 weeks and 25 trades on and another 4 pts profit..
I have now traded 313 selections since 11th March and have made 15pts...certainly slow and steady but as i scale the stakes i will be very pleased if these profits continue... sticking to my rules is making a big difference as for all the trades that would have gone on to win had i have left them running there are plenty that would have gone the other way...

32 trades since last update and LTD continuing to go in the right direction... gained another 4 pts over the last 9 days... it is slow and steady at the minute.

Quick trading update -
I feel like i have turned a real corner since losing my data 6 weeks ago, i am tracking various things and my new spreadsheets are both easier and quicker to update but also track more data than i was previously...
Whilst i am paper trading all my set and forget bits to get enough data to feel confident in i have been actually trading my LTD albeit with minimum stakes at this stage...
I joined BTC 18 months ago with the idea of LTD being my one and only stratagy but i quickly had my head turned by other things i read about and saw working for others and so jumped around a bit and needless to say my discipline and emotional decision making was lacking, however, i really feel in control now and am happy to trade out at my stop loss if needs be without a second thought (in the past i would have given it a few mins just in case the goal came)... it was the winning edge challenge that was a catalist here as i was given the over 1.5 split stake to track but very quickly realised it wasnt for me, however, reminded me that trading rather than just set and forget was for me, and so back to the classic LTD i went.
here is my graph (showing off another new skill) after 256 trades... currently 7pts up which i am really happy with..
my paper trading bits i am testing are as follows currently -
1st half goal - 64 selections - 3pts profit
BTTS - 115 selections - 5pts profit
Lay Away - 57 selections - 6pts profit
2nd half goal - 58 selections - 8pts profit
O3.5 - 94 selections - 1pt loss
O2.5 - 130 selections - 4pts profit
O1.5 - 98 selections - 8pts loss
not such a quick update after all

@Shannon-Townsend am excited to see where this takes me and feel that i now have enough discipline to accept a loss and move on rather than being tempted to stay in the trade etc...
that is a huge step forward for any trader, well done!
