International Breaks & Cup Games

Hey guys,
Planning to get started with some football trading. I read that beginners should avoid international & cup games.
As such, I assume we should:
- Avoid trading teams who have players away at international matches.
- Avoid trading teams with cup games in the same week as regular fixtures. How long should the minimum break be before I can trade the regular season again?
Is there anything else I should be aware of regarding this issue? Thanks!

@Myles-O-Bery no I wouldn't I just don't trade cup games

@Martin Sure.
So for example, Arsenal has a CL match on the 13th with the nearest league matches being the 10th and the 17th. Would you skip both league matches such they're in such close proximity to the CL game?

@Myles-O-Bery I use them as a time to have a break from football trading, analyse results and look at horses a bit more etc

@Martin For sure. My main concern would be how I should trade league games around these events though. What are your typical rules for these situations?

@Myles-O-Bery personal choice really but I avoid them because the data is not as current or relevant in internationals and cup games.

For some extra background, I plan to just start with three of the set & forget presets - Tomasz Under 1.5 Goals Lays, Over 3.5 Goals Lays, and Lay Away.
