@jarratt-perkins This is amazing Jarratt. I love the work both yourself and Dave are doing here on the bots.

appreciated I must say and I am sure a good few members will be interested to see your daily results.

    So welcome to my BOTS!

I will be adjusting staking on some today so will start fresh with profit and loss from tomorrow but to give you all an idea how they perform.

    First of all Horse

    Lay Fav
This is the same as @Dave-Jessop but needs some staking adjustment after yesterday's heart attack!

    lay88
This works on laying horses in pos 3 between oddsof 5 and 8. Needs to be 10 or more runners in race and needs be be 1.5 or more odds greater than the fav. This uses Lay up and down so £1 stake till loses then ups 1 point and will decrease by 20p till back to £1.

    Layno2
    Lays fav if between 3-6

    Foreign
    Same as @Dave-Jessop

    Same as @Dave-Jessop

    Tennis

This looks to see if an odds on Fav is losing the first set ... back them to win the 2nd set...simples!

    Football

    0_1566553251681_60b469bf-854d-4cf1-b765-c2d65e59cb71-image.png

    Lay team A + B
This uses in-play stats and if a team is underperforming on the PI it lays them through the game .... going better than I thought but a long way to go!

    SHG 80pi
    Not working yet

    Goal05,15,25
Checks inplay stats and if looks liek a goal is coming lay current score

    Under15
    @Dave-Jessop stuff!

    Scalping Football
    0_1566553403403_cff261fe-becf-4ec5-9529-8e875b89531c-image.png

All these do is look at inplay stats and if it looks like nothing is happening back unders! ...

Game one just looks through the game and looks to grab a couple of ticks.

HT and FT look into extra time ... if nothing happens to stick back bet on under until game finishes .

I will keep everyone updated daily on whats going on but as I am changing these bots daily i will explain what i have done and indicate it on results

That makes sense. Ive done it with the Dog Traps, so i started at 100 and use 0.1% as liability. Im going to consider whether to do it with the others aswell. Its just finding the right balance of everything.....staking, how many losses to reset after, % recovery etc. Having a bunch of results to analyse will help as i think one of the biggest things to consider is the length of the longest losing sequence

@dave-jessop I figure 10 strategies at smaller stakes is less subject to 'squeaky bum' moments than 5 at large stakes, at least whilst figuring out the best recovery methods and %. I like the recovering at 33% you suggested, much less harsh

@jarratt-perkins Bots was completely the wrong word, i actually meant strategies. Ive set 9 up for now, id rather spread the liability over different strategies. Once they're working fine i can nudge the strakes up

@jarratt-perkins Ho nice how do you get another server? Also for another server do you need a different laptop/PC for it to run on?

Ok os I have one of these running at home : https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/HP-658553-421-ProLiant-N40L-Micro-Server-Black/114294037?iid=352755710561&rt=nc

It's basically a computer with no monitor ext that I remote into. I have my network - vpn ect running on it.

If you have a PC running thought its fine 🙂 - then you can run a Virtual Machine off you PC by following these steps and will mean you can do what I do.

I opted to buy a windows 10 licence of ebay for £7

Got a few strategies running now, interested to see how they go. Ill probably drop 2 or 3 once ive got some results under my belts and ill tweak them as i go. I need to resist just adding more and more! If i can get a few ticking over for reasonably low effort itll soon start to add up!

Hi guys just wondering how many bots can be run well at the same time?
Is it only 2 at a time will work?ou can run maximum of 2 bot instances at same time because Betfair has limit of 2 connections to their Stream API. But you can install software on as many computers as you like. Each license key is valid for single account only but it can be used on unlimited number of computers.

I got this message from them as I was trying to explain it is very slow and sometimes a lot of bets don't register when I am trying to run football dog and horse bots at the same time.

Yes, you can run one bot on one computer for greyhounds and second bot on another computer for football events.

Yes mate, I found that out. What happens is it loops through ALL the markets you have pulled ... dogs, horses, football.... imagine that loop on a Saturday at 3pm!

So it goes betid 1 - does it meets the facts you put in place - yes/ or no..... betid2 ... ect ect

So if it does not hit your dogs or horse market and within 10 seconds before the off then it won't get matched (if that's what you have it set 2)

So what I have done is run 1 bot on 1 server ... just doing dogs and horses and another bot on another just running football - makes loop throughs smaller

    @dave-jessop Lol I didn't realise Dave.
    I haven't got a virtual machine.
What is a virtual machine and does it need to run on a different laptop to what I am using the BF Botmanager from?

Hi Dave I was wondering how does the foreign horses bot work. I noticed today it was placing lay bets on UK racing for example Dakota Gold it laid which ran at York.

Is it suppose to be for foreign based racing such as in the US?

You have the UK horses loaded in the filter - you have to run the foreign bot from a virtual machine with just US, AUS, SA and French races loaded

Nah you dont need to do that 🙂 - I have both running on same machine
