RULE CHANGES FOR 2023-24
-
I see there are a few rule changes for this season . The main one that sticks out is additional time will be added on for goal celebrations.
So my late goal strategy that i am now paper trading hopefully should start picking up more wins , i can see 9 plus mins injury time being the norm.
Does anyone know if the changes are just in England or it a Eufa rule change? -

@james-everard ...We have a New Ground, brilliant Chairman and facilities that are way above the league we are in!
I do corporate for games and there is 190 sell out every home game at £50 a go, so money is coming in!!!
BUT, who wants to come and play non league football in the arse end of Lincolnshire? And that lies the problem! Still got 1500 diehard fans at home every week and took 325 away to Buxton 3 hours away, so everythings in place but the players sadly!Sounds like you at least have everything in place and 1500 is a good following . My club has potential to be in the football league ( population in borough of 181,000) but we have a chairman who knows nothing about football and is in it for the wrong reasons and a crap council owned athletics stadium been stuck here for 20 years!!
BUT we do live in the Arse end of Lincolnshire, no duel carriageway here never mind Motorways....nothing else to do here except kill each other obviously, as we are still the murder capital of the UK!

@Karl-Pick do you think there would be a possibility to extend the EFL to League 3 rather than the current set up? Seems like non-league is becoming the Championship without FFP
Dan...at least half the teams in the Conference North are FULL TIME now, let alone the conference, I think with the Automatic promotion from all these Leagues, they are already EFL in everything but name. The difference between Football League and Non League used to be Pro to Semi-pro, but that's well gone nowadays, with over 50 supposedly non league teams full time professionals. And to be honest some of the set ups/stadiums and facilities are absolutely fantastic!
Hi Karl
In the conference South we have a few full time clubs i can think of Yeovil, Torquay , Maidstone , Havant, Farnborough and Eastbourne.

@Karl-Pick What game was you at? i went to watch my local team Chelmsford in the Conference South and they wern't implementing the new rules regarding the extra time, Towel use or kicking the ball away!
That FOOTBALLING GIANT....Boston United...Conference North!!
Saw 102 minutes football in total!
Same level as my team , think we only had 6mins. Do you think the rules apply at this level also as other rule changes were allowed in our game (kicking the ball away and drying of the ball for throw ins with a towel)
How did you get on Saturday?Basically WE will WIN sod all!!
They drew 1-1 with a 94th Minute equaliser, Buxton had all the play but 2 shots, Boston no play 2 shots! But Boston are very tight at the back with good solid ex pro's, but very lightweight elsewhere with young kids up front. Could m
be some mileage in Under 2.5 goals bets in their games! You watch next game will be 5-5!!!Whats happened to Boston then they used to big quite a big club , money troubles?
We have owners with no ambition at our club , until they go and we need a new ground then we aren't moving up the period anytime soon. Bloody frustrating supporting them been the longest serving team in the Conference South now even bloody Braintree have had two promotions into the National!
How much are season tickets this season over your place? -

I think it'll only last for the first few games. With more and more fixtures getting added professional footballers now have to play c.50 games each season. If you expect to then add an extra 10% for stoppage time the players will just get burnt out. Pep and Klopp moan about it anyway so never mind playing 100+ minutes
You are probably right or they will allow an extra sub as the dangly carrot to agree to ?

Luckily we scored in the 94th! But if your clock watching at 85minutes, most games are now going to have at least 10mins left!

@james-everard great question, I think just in England by the FA but we will find out I guess when the other leagues start.
