In play 2-0 down
-
Hi folks. I’ve mentioned this topic before and feel it’s worth mentioning.
Over time I’ve spotted many games where a team are 2 goals down and get back to 2-2 or go on to win, but never traded.
I’ve started to place trades on this now and will post results in time, but it’s got off to a flyer thanks to Rosenburg being 2 down at ht, they were 3-2 up after 70 minutes, backed at 10 out at 1.6 for a £40 return on £5 stake cashing out at 3-2.
Has anyone on here done this or similar? -
Hi Folks. An update on what ive traded and spotted.
Very much in its infancy and currently not set on a strategy as there are many options, all positive, some could bare some serious fruit!!
So heres what ive traded on so far. Results, dont dig too deep, im trying to suss out whats best, losses in some cases were avoidable.HT FT
St Johnstone 0-1 0-4 Stirling Albion Odds 6 -1pt
Rosenburg 0-2 3-2 Odds BK Odds 10 +8pt
Ponte Preta 2-0 2-2 Victoria Salvador Odds 6 -1pt
Hibs 0-2 2-3 St Mirren Entry Odds 18 0pt
Viking 2-2 3-2 Bodo G Entry Odds 8 -1ptSunday also saw Leeds come back from 0-2 to end 2-2. Draw odds were at 12 in Injury time!!!
Also, Sunderland were 0-2 down falling short at 1-2. None Traded. Results: £1 =1 point
St Johnstone -1pt
Rosenburg Win Cash Out at 9 +8pt
Ponte Preta (entry ay 1-2) Let it Run -1 pt (cash out offer of 1.86pt
Hibs 0pt (entry at 1-2) (odds were at 75 at 65 mins) Cash out at 2-2 for 2.26pt
Viking H-T Offered 1.94+ cash out. I let it run for -1pt loss. There are many variants to these games. How early in the game the deficit occurs is key, its not straight forward. However, even a goal offers profits, and if you look at Hibs who were at 65-70 minutes 2 down, odds at 75, they score 2 to level, on another day they score the winner and your in for a huge win. I think this is all about getting a foot on the Ladder then taking your chance based on the in play stats and how you see it.
Last week Rosenburg were at 10 at HT and they did win the game 3-2.Not a straight forward method regards odds, but this is without a doubt a reccurring theme, its how you play the game that dictates your profitability!
Answers on a postcard please!!!

@Samo hi mate. Yeah, I’m backing the team that are 2 down. I get the lay option, you have lower liability but what I like on the back side is the return can be huge. Option to get out after a goal or 2, but also you can sit on it as if they come back and take the lead even better. I backed Rosenburg on Sunday who were 2 down, they ended up at 2-2 then opponents hit a man sent off, and Rosenburg then went 3-2 up and that’s how it ended. So there are times where a 4th goal goes in you really are in the money. This happens a lot more than most think but I think the key is to make money and not be too greedy I guess.
I watched 5 matches last season on the bounce where they were 2 down and ended 2-2!! -
@Terry-Aikman That's amazing thank you, I really like what you said about you can take what's in your head and type them in and tweak them thats really powerful stuff that!
Now you are loving it maybe I can get you to do a little testimonial?
Just fill this out if you are game: https://www.videoask.com/foii7pyfx

@Terry-Aikman
I like this strategie alot.
looking for a strong home team that is behind provides nice ods and value.
They are the better team and playing home giving them an even bigger edge.
if i understand it correct you are backing the team 0-2 behind? i prefer to lay the team in frond. in this way you can make also a profit when it is a draw (this happens a lot). But you can test it and the data will tell you what to do.have fun with your new strategie

@Ryan hi mate. Call it a lightbulb moment lol!!
Been in the community 6 months now and I’ve learned a lorry load trading on betfair, from you and Martins videos and podcasts too. I’ve made many mistakes and learning from them. I’m not the most tech interested person but I can say that I should have been on to this software much much much earlier!! It really does all the work for you, it’s brilliant. The ideas we have in our minds can be typed in and tweaked, and in time find a strategy that works, and makes money.
I now understand why you get frustrated lol!!What I would say is I’m glad I’ve been through the learning I’ve went through but this without a doubt is the smarter and quicker way. My dunce cap is now off!!
Keep up the great work mate -
@Gary-Wall hi mate.
Not on that game I wouldn’t have!! I watched the first 20 minutes and from what I seen Spain were doing nothing in the final third to suggest a goal was on its way. I only seen 20 minutes then I was off to work but I thought I’d avoid it, Spain were poor.
From what I’ve witnessed many times it’s often teams that are very similar in league position or a top side who are not at it, come half time they come out a new team. There is obviously an element of luck in this of course, but on Saturday there was Rangers v Hoffenheim, 2-0 then 2-2, Aston Villa v Brentford 2-0 then 3-2, it’s catching them but they offer superb returns. Also keep an eye for games where there’s only a goal between them and one team down to ten men. Tonight Genk v servette, at 2-1 genk servette were 120 then equalised and were then 16!
In time I’ll be putting money on these instead of just witnessing them lol!! -
@Terry-Aikman What made you start harnessing the power of the software?

@Terry-Aikman Do you fancy putting it to the test Terry, Spain 2-0 down
