@Everyone a while back I did a really hard hitting thread on here about beliefs, it's time to bring it back!

So with that in mind if you are game, kindly answer....

What did you use to belief around trading that you now don't?

I used to believe winning the battle each day was the key to being profitable with trading. Turns out you winning the long term war is far more important.

I used to believe it was complicated.

    It isn't.

When I first started, long before joining BTC, I believed that building your own strategy was this mystical state only achievable by a small group of ‘experts’… a while later I discovered this belief was due to what I was ‘told’ or more likely ‘sold’ by others who wanted to keep the profitable trading to a small group, who could then sell their strategies without telling us they reached their selections etc… so they made you (me) dependent on them.

I’m not ashamed to say that I lost on various subscriptions to these types over a couple of years, but we live and learn!

Obviously that changed when I joined BTC.

I also use to belief that I had to spend every minute of the day researching and then watching every game. Again totally wrong, I now use one set & forget and two in-play strats - even the in-play I don’t have to watch really unless I want too.
