@Martin Think City’s price could drop a bit. Don’t think they’ll win it but have a relatively straight forward draw so could make semis without breaking sweat. Agree think PSG odds are still likely to come down from the currrnt price point.
Yeah always good to have a good look at the draws, price will shorten if they make semi surely

@Nikki-HALSALL yesterday was frustrating as should have traded out long before the two late goals.
Thinking along similar lines for Chelsea game. Under 3.5 again but will be low stakes as not sure just how good these MLS teams are
** Scrap that heard that the stadium has a roof closed for tonight’s game which will negate the temp factor somewhat. Expect goals now **

@Shannon-Townsend I thought that about Real at start of season but have become less convinced by them as the season has gone on, same with Man City. Will be interesting to see if they were saving something for this tourney.

PSG at around 6.0 looks a good price. Have a tough group but head and shoulders the best team in this if they take it seriously
Yes I agree with this, especially with Barca not in it (how are they not in it but Juve and Salzburg are?)
Price crashed in to 4.3 already to close to where it should have been, still may even be too big
-
@Andy-Donnelly difficult to see where the appetite is for this Tourney so might be a good play with a view to getting out ????

Thoughts on club World Cup today. Think unders on PSG v Atletico look good to me. Market expecting goals but both teams likely to be knackered and looks like they will be playing at midday local time in 30 plus degrees sunshine. Factor in it’s the first game of the tournament which can mean teams start cagey and likely atletico will put a lot of men behind the ball.
1.45 on under 3.5 looks good with all the above concerned

@Akiva-Anderson how is journey to the wife letting you quit your job to do this going?
She’s dead against it, still. I’m not that worried though as funding for my job has ran out and it may not be renewed in time. I’m also not in a hurry to leave. Work gives me a daily routine and honestly don’t mind my job.

@Akiva-Anderson As I stick solely to league football it makes no sodding difference to me. Much prefer that the summer leagues were all playing this week.

@Martin absolutely but then it's all about the money.
Players get paid astronomically well but the human body is only capable of so much and if we want to see them at their absolute best then it needs managing properly.
The alternative is walking wounded all stepping into next season one strain away from months on the sideline anyway.
The speed of the game and levels of fitness they need to sustain in modern football isn't sustainable unless they get proper down time. Not to mention the mental side of things.
The more football, the more money I can potentially make. So, I'm all for it.
-
@Martin I think they cap number of teams from a country to two unless more than two winners of continental title in last 4 years.
After that it’s coefficients and think bizarrely at the point of confirming qualifiers Atletico Madrid were higher in the rankings than Barcelona
-
@Akiva-Anderson writing us off already haha!

Good, it might give the wee shitty teams like Arsenal a chance to compete

@Akiva-Anderson I'm not sure I agree. I think the lack of interest in the tournament and the fact they have struggled to sell tickets is indicative of the fact many don't care.
Let the players go on holiday and recharge. They start again in Sept.
Doesn't help they want to have these things in America all the time, sure that's where a lot of money is but Soccer as they call it is well down their list of sports.
